Thanks for all the feed back! I really took into account the suggestions and tips about how to get my first fan cover art, to the best that I can. It's so exciting!

I really liked the French poster art for this film, but not sure why I prefer the poster art I used. I guess I found it a bit more erotic, somehow. Too, I couldn't find a high res one of the bed sheets poster.

I've gone ahead and made the quotes smaller than the title of the movie. But I might shrink them just a bit more. I need to find a good AP logo for one of my quotes.

As for the back, I've played around with it. But that's still a work in progress. Hopefully this draft looks better than the last. Again, thanks for your feed back and I welcome more!

Having so much fun!

Love almost everything about it, but IMO the quotes are still way too big. I don;t think they should be bigger than the director's name, but that's just me. Use them to pepper emphasis, not draw away from the art or credits.

Also, the photos and specs on the back look stretched.

Otherwise, for a first cover, it looks great.

Gotten closer to a final cover design with this one. I went ahead and switched the quotes to the back cover portion. Leaving only a "Golden Globes" mention on the front cover. Figure, the cover design should speak more for the film, than any quote, as you guys pointed out.

Yeah, for some reason, I couldn't get the pictures on the back to look right or at least how I wanted them. So, I went ahead with a cleaner look, by not using them. I figured, less is more in this case. But I think this is it for now, I'll give it a days break, so I can come back to it with new eyes later on.

But this has been so much fun! I can't wait to start a second cover one of these days. What do you guys think?

Thanks! Wasn't sure anyone would notice. I did it to my Prestige cover as well. Hid the Criterion C.

Those are both sweet looking covers. The question I have is, where did you get an orange Blu-ray case? Did it come with a specific movie, or do you know a place where they sell cases in colors other than blue?

Can you tell me what is the mm size of the spine for the single disc case that custom cover designers generally design for if they were designing for a single disc case?

It's the Canadian The Way Back release. And I was lucky enough to get 5 of the orange cases.

I also just completed my own custom cover. It's no masterpiece work of art, I simply replaced the front cover and spine.

That would be 12.5mm for the US, 14mm for the UK.

The 12.5mm cases can hold up to three discs, so you'll see a lot of "trilogy" customs with those dimensions.

w/indy jones being announced this week....has anyone done any custom covers for the set yet??

if someone's willing, i'd love it if they looked like the releases that came w/the dvd set a couple years ago.

i also found this online that would make for an awesome set in 1 4-5 disc case.

these Ninja Turtles covers look awesome, however you have Raph's red bandana/belt being used for all 4 turtles

Thanks. And I know they are all red. I used an original colored pencil sketch from Jim Lawson, the guy who did the pencils for the original comic book, and his drawing he has all of them wearing the same bandana. So i kinda wanted to stay true to the original comic style. Thanks for the input though its always appreciated!

Thanks! I think I am finished with the Shame cover art for now. I might wait to see the UPC, and match it to the art, just so it looks more official. But it was a fun experience.

Here's another one I'm working on. Just a remix of the cover art from the Blu-ray. I disliked the giant blue bar at the top. It felt too much. But hopefully, this cover art I'm doing isn't half bad when finished. This is still a first draft.

Though, I think it might suffer from too much Ewan. Any comments, welcome!
