So has anyone got the guns from VoG since update. I could really do with 331 damage fatebringers! It's the only gun worth using in that first section of the raid, 1 headshot takes out an entire group of thrall, too many people relying on the Vex

I also think the upgrade system is completely broken... Why the hell would I spend 1 shard and 8k on reseting my Voidfang when I could just buy it for a few coins already upgraded and dismantle my already upgraded one for mats....

Reports from reddit say all weapon drops in the VoG are 300 still.

In a way I'm glad in that I don't have to grind it out for another one. In another way that's pretty stupid, since all the old Legendary gear is now LL33 like the new stuff. Nevermind, one less thing to worry about

From Xur got a new Truth, improved Thorn and IB, helmet engram that the slot machine rolled for my titan, warlock chestpiece. Desperately need helium for titan armor and radiant shards. Now have raid gloves and boots but can not use them. And I need glimmer. Spent down to 400, up to about 3000, then raided from then on and gained no glimmer.

They still have not fixed the glitch where synths will not work with full inventory.


If you have not taken your guardian to the first raid chest, get it while it is hot, before it is patched.

I grabbed it last night. 2 Radiant Shards.

Some really great cheese on the nightfall I never knew about. Takes me back to the MW2 days where you would have to kill juggernauts in co-op and one of you stays behind the wall to revive and another just shoots and dies.

In regards to raids.

The activity is going to take you and your group of five buddies into a place that you’ve never been. A place that you will return to frequently. And [it will] demand of you things you’ve never even really been asked to do in a shooter before.

Which shooter had raids before? Which shooter required you to work with 5 others to activate other checkpoints and puzzles with hopes of rare loot?

I should go out and make a shooter. Promise that you'll do things you've never been asked to do before. All I'll deliver is that you can ride a pink pony while shooting purple drink at George Washington. While technically true (I don't believe that's ever been asked before), it's still a bit unfair to really take credit for doing something that's "never been done before."

But then we have the argument that "it's an fps, what else do you want to do?" That's not up to me. As a developer, don't promise new experiences and not deliver.

You're still doing the same basic shit over and over. I can't believe the end boss is just a bigger knight with a sword. They couldn't even come up with new enemies.

I spent the coin on a new Truth, even though I had a fully leveled version 1. When I broke down my old one, I got 2 exotic shards. Seems like a better deal to me.

Take that back. Ric is reliable. He is also level 31 and has his new guns ready. Better off than me, for sure. He is a role model. I recommend everyone level and upgrade as much as they can. Level 32 enemies are like hard VOG at level 28, if you are level 30. This raid is more fun and less buggy than the Vault so far.

My Ice Breaker is now fully leveled. Once my new arc RL is leveled, I'll work on Truth. Saving 30 bounties pre-DLC, most at 5,000 XP really helped speed the process.

Got a LDR 5001 sniper in a vanguard package. Will be nice to use for those times I need to gjallarhorn and can't use ice breaker. Which seems to be more often now
