Strange that the $5 only comes off the version with the movie images across it even though they are regularly the same price. Can't tell the difference between the two as they both include DVD + Digital Copy, although the movie image cover does mention some downloadable content, so maybe that's it!? It also looks like it may come with a slipcover. I kind of like the art with just his face so hopefully that too comes with a slipcover and is $5 off as I couldn't care less about downloadable content.

Not sure if its been mentioned but when I went to FS last night to grab the Django steelbook they had Men in Black 1 & 2 steelbooks for $9.99 each.

yup covered. Good Luck to anyone who hasn't got Django already btw. Had to drive to 3 different stores before I found one. Really pisses me off to go on DAY1 and still have trouble getting copies.

I just pre-order them online. Got mine in the mail on release day. It was in perfect condition, probably because it was alone in a box big enough for a stereo receiver, surrounded by balls of paper.

I ordered mine online. They were in better condition than the in-store copies.

I also went to my store on opening day, but I received a text from my FS telling me that they were selling fast that morning. They had to restock their shelves twice before noon, so I knew it was going to be a biggie.

This is what is wrong with retailers that do not enforce policy! I have no problem with someone buying an extra copy for a friend. But buying all 15-20 and leaving NOTHING for other customers is how people get pissed off and extortion happens on Kijiji etc. Same issue Play.com always had and now Zavvi. People ordering 20-30 copies of Aladdin steelbook and they're all soldout. People who want 1 copy for themselves having to bend over and take it for Ebay prices!

stores don't care as long as they get there money. was telling the manger at my store how people come in and buy up all the steelbooks to resell the for more on ebay she just laughed about it.

I went to another forum famous for steelbooks and moderators were deleting any posts that complained about the Aladdin steelbooks being sold out so quickly. A lot of them gone due to what you said. A lot of people also think its okay to put an extra copy on eBay to fund their blu ray habit. The common excuse is that if you wanted it so badly you would've planned ahead like me!

Also wow, how hard is it to get a steel of Django? I've never had a problem getting steels a few days after release, but none left at my local store. I asked the guy who worked there if there was any left in stock, he looked it up and said there was just 1 left in Ontario and its in Windsor

It is kinda true though. ALADDIN has been big news for a few weeks now. If you don't pay attention, you will miss it. I don't think people should complain after selling out in a few days.

Also, I don't think it is a big deal to have to limit people on quantity. Most of the time the SBs are duds anyway in terms of appreciating in value. Not really a wise investment if you ask me.

Huh....this is news to me. I'm assuming since Viva is gone, FS isn't going to make disney exclusives anymore? That's a bummer.

Not sue why people get mad if people buy more then 1 its just a movie after all life goes on i miss out on alot of movies or deals it happens but cause of this site i get more deals then i dont

and i miss out on some steelbooks id love to have iron man and few others
but im not rushing to ebay to pay 100$ for it

most steelbooks are listed few weeks before they sell out so ever one who is a big steelbook guy knows before there listed there going up for sale to get theres

says the guy that posted here numerous times and raved about taking all the FS steelbooks on clearance for $5 and selling them on Ebay for $70, buying numerous TDKR batcawls at HMV for $50, selling them on Ebay for $170, or taking all the $1 BDs during BBV close out (over 150 if my memory serves me well) to "offer as gifts for friends and family"

Anyway, I have nothing against buying an extra copy, maybe 2 and trying to offset the cost of one's own, however I am completely against buying all of them simply for profit and leaving other collectors no choice but to pay a ridiculous amount for it.

yes i did have no problem with it if you seen bambi on steelbook for 99 cents and they had 10 copies you wouldent buy more then 1? and i sold a few on ebay and some to friends for 1$
and batman i did buy and sold on ebay for 170$ (cause it was a low numbers) i only get what some one is willing to pay if the bid starts at 50$ and goes to 170 not like im going to be like i only paid 65$

i dont see why people get upset with resellers

if you want a movie pre order it then yoru safe (the movies i got for 1$ where out for years before i got them) it was one location that was on clearance and i took one bambi the manager is like i got alot more int he back want them all you can make money on them so i took them all he wanted them gone for space

so i dont have a problem with it
