They could do that, or they could also let you use a second Switch.

A left Joy-Con with a microphone (and/or microphone jack) and D-pad would make many players happy, I'm sure. The addition of a camera (even a crummy 0.3 megapixel one akin to the ones included in the 3DS and Wii U Gamepad) would also be great.

(Try not to get frustrated) I would try disconnecting and reconnecting at the Switch dock to make sure it’s fully seated, and if you are using a 3rd party HDMI cable, check to see if it is directional. I have an HDMI cable from MonoPrice that has “source” and “tv” at opposite ends and I can confirm it only works if you make the ends match.

Also make sure there are no conflicting settings on the selected input, you may have accidentally enabled HDR or an incompatible color space on your LG.

When you get it sorted, please share so we can keep it in mind for future troubleshooting.

I feel sorry for Best Buy I took the Switch back, but it was the power bank on my Panamax that I had the Switch plugged into that was powered off.

Reminds me of a teacher I had in high school, she couldn't understand why the computer didn't turn on when she pressed the power button. I had to point out that it wasn't plugged in.

Today I found out that a friend bought a Switch just to play The Witcher 3

Imagine that being your very first Switch game. Switch is also their first game console in over a decade.

Do they play games on the go a lot? Seems weird to buy a Switch specifically for that game when it's been out on other consoles for years.

They live in a small apartment with 4 other people, and only 1 TV the 5 of them share.

Then that seems perfectly reasonable, as they will likely want to invest several hours into the game but not want to hog the TV time.

Has anyone here tried registering a game in My Nintendo Rewards and received an error saying it is expired? I picked up a still-sealed Darius Cozmic Collection, released about a year ago in Japan, and I got that error. I didn’t buy the game for the points, but they do come in handy.

Physical copies are only good for points for 12 months from initial release, looks like that came out right at 13 months ago.

Just saw this, I sold my Joycon Switch to my BIL and my nephew yesterday for $300 along with a copy of Sword. Not regretting it, just taking note of it.

Typical Nintendo to not make enough of their systems to meet demand.
