Ya, that's what I was going to say. Sophomore QB Bo Wallace is a decent starter for Ole Miss with 2 years left. The guy can run the ball well too. Ole Miss was actually decent offensively this past season, but their defense was mediocre.

If they go after more Mannings, they better make darn sure they don't break the rules like they did with Peyton.

I think we hit a home run with our new offensive coordinator, James Coley. He sounds like he also is a very strong recruiter, which is a very nice benefit. Florida State is sure losing a lot of assistants lately.

Great read
Heres a quick snippet (long)

Quote:
Football factory: The U's astounding presence in Super Bowl XLVII

That '01 Hurricanes team, which went undefeated and routed Nebraska in the BCS Championship Game, produced NFL players at just about every position. That Miami roster produced 17 first-round draft picks and 38 players were drafted into the NFL. Andre Johnson was on that roster. So was Vince Wilfork. So was D.J. Williams. So was Jonathan Vilma. So was Antrelle Rolle. So were Willis McGahee and Clinton Portis, who were both ahead of Gore on the depth chart. So was Sean Taylor, who was Reed's backup and made the Pro Bowl twice before being tragically killed in a home invasion. And so was 2012 Pro Bowler Chris Myers, who didn't start at Miami but logged significant playing time as a backup because, in his matter-of-fact words, "We were blowing teams out by 40 points." (That team's average margin of victory was actually 32.9 points.)

But what about that plethora of NFL talent the 2002 OSU team produced that beat them the next season? Oh... nevermind.

What about?

My goodness GET OVER IT!

Oh and what about those plethora of great teams Miami FL has produced since 2002? Oh .. nevermind

You just love to take shots at Ohio St. any chance you get and then when I call you out on it you give the 'who me?' bs like you don't have an obsessive hatred against Ohio St. Just get over it. Who the hell cares how much NFL talent OSU had on that team. That's the beauty of it and makes that win so much more satisfying is that we beat the 'mighty' Hurricanes that night with a roster that wasn't as talented as the Hurricanes.

No especially when the game should have ended in regulation and never should have gone to overtime. Michael Jenkins catch inbounds with 3 minutes to go in the 4th quarter for a 1st down that was ruled not a catch. The game is over at that point as Ohio St runs out the clock for a 3 point win. Or when replays and the announcers showed it was a catch. Also the numerous grabbing, holding the Miami db's were doing the entire game that wasn't called. All you Miami fans want to talk about is that play WHICH WAS PASS INTERFERENCE, the correct call but not what happened before that and throughout that game.

I'm beyond sick of rehashing this and cryami fans still can't get over the fact that Ohio St, which was a huge underdog and expected to get blown out punched Miami in the mouth the entire game and yet the focus is on that pass interference call.

All the focus is on the bad call at the end because the phantom pass interference cost us the game. It was clearly a terrible call. We were robbed of the national title by the zebras.

Ohio State played a great game, you will never hear anyone deny that, but at the end of the day, we were hosed. There is no way around it.

So you honestly believe that was a phantom pass interference. Go look at that play and tell me that wasn't pass interference. The only thing bad about that call is that it was late but it was the correct call. Move on seriously. You aren't doing yourself any favors rehashing this.

I've rehashed that play many times man. It should not have been called. People I have talked to who was neutral during the game have told me the same thing, it should not have been called. It really sucks losing a national title over a blown call, believe me. I wish you guys would have blown us out, it would have hurt so much less.

I don't have a problem obviously. My team won the game.

I don't know if you have read this article that si.com did about a month ago where they interviewed players and they went through that game. It gives an interesting perspective from the players about that game. Great article: http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/col...r_a1&eref=sihp
