Jsteinhauer, don't delete everything like Casual. I'm in the same boat as I play this WAY too much. I still need to do some Spring cleaning on my shop and mow the lawn. Maybe have a Tuesday Destiny night or something. I need to pick a few days of the week in which I don't allow myself to play.

Just keep a checkpoint at the "we've woken the hive!" section of The Dark Beyond. As long as you don't kill all 4 majors (acolyte x3, knight) you can die and reset the checkpoint. If you do kill all 4, just don't kill the wizard and you can restart checkpoint by going to orbit and watching the cutscene again.

color me interested!!! once i get enough glimmer, i'll be damn close to level 31.

hoping to pick up some boots in the iron banner this week.....then i'll have all new dlc armor, just will have to max it all out.

Might try that in the near future Andy, but my main interest is to collect shards today so I can upgrade.

Oh yeah, this game hasn't fazed me yet as far as taking over my personal life. Sure I play more than I'm supposed to, but it hasn't become a chore. I play at my leisure, and I keep my weekends open and set the PS4 off to the side. Keeps this game fresh for me.

Burn conned me into playing with him, on a "casual" basis. I'm level 17 over the last week or two, I can tell you right now I'm not taking it too seriously this time. It didn't delete my vault so I have a nice stash of stuff to boost me at twenty

If I can get level 36 arms and legs again, I am all over it. I managed to get chest pieces for my titan and warlock in the raid and I already have new exotic helms for them. If I can get arms and legs from the IB then I can have 2 X 32's

Then I just have the crappy hunter to deal with...

Guys, just take it easy, no point in tearing the ring out of it. I have noticed some folks just take it too seriously, I know the game is addictive though and it is easy to get caught up in it, but the amount of time some people throw at the game is unreal.

Perhaps I am involuntarily immune as I simply don't have that much disposable time, so for me the game is still fun. If this game is interfering with your personal life, then just cut back or quit. Real life is more important.

I have not run the new raid yet, have not got nowhere near the gear some folks have, but it is still fun. Some are of the mindset to get to level 32 in the first 2 weeks of the DLC being released.

Having said that I am almost level 31, but then I would be more useful in the raid.

Perhaps you guys quit at the the right time though, tomorrow Iron Banner starts up again. Dunno if I should be happy, or throw up in my mouth. I just know they are going to entice us with awesome gear.

didn't get to play much this weekend. i did finish off my exotic bounty for an upgraded invective. not a big fan of shotguns, but it might be useful in crucible. bought xurs exotic helmet, upgraded last word and thunderlord, like i planned.

ive got enough ascendent shards to upgrade my gear for level 31. dont have any raid gear yet, still have only played it 1 time.

does anyone want to cheese the bridge tonight? i havn't got that loot drop yet.

wonder if there will be 36 light armor in iron banner?? if so i might go that route

Well it was about 2am here when we left you guys last night not sure what time it was for you guys.

Im 31 and nearly 31 with 2 different sets of armor including 2 exotics so both my titans can be 31. Lack of glimmer is really a pain though. I hit zero this weekend after stating with 25000 on Tuesday.

I played so much this past week that the wife was going to break the PS4. lol Oh well I think I am to a point where my playing will go down at least at night except for a raid and maybe the weekly.

I'm going back to work tomorrow so I'll only have 2-3 hours each evenings to play. Not losing sleep over this game.

We painted the inside of the house last winter. Not fun. Especially with a bad shoulder. We are getting new counter tops and kitchen floors beginning of 2015 but I will likely hire someone to do that. lol

no, repairing rooms that were damaged when water leaked into the house b/c of the ice damn we had last winter. 3 rooms had to be gutted down to the studs.

this is the 2nd room i'm finishing up right now, the 3rd is going to wait until spring.

i hate painting, i give my wife crap all the time b/c every room in our house has been painted at least 2-3x since we moved in 10 years ago!!

as far as my gaming goes w/Destiny, i play a couple hours a couple nights a week. if my wife and the kids fall alseep early on a friday or saturday night, i'll put in 3 hours easy.

but i never felt like i HAD to get a character to a certain point to be able to enjoy the game. that's why when i play a raid and get armor, it's exciting. or if i don't get anything, it p!sses me off!!

just to prove that having a character maxed out doesn't bother me.....my hunter is level 8 and my titan is level 4.....they've been like that for about 2 months now.
