No. The cable channels that showed Rad in HD were INHD and INHD2 (INHD was later renamed to MOJO HD and INHD2 was discontinued; MOJO HD was eventually discontinued as well). The offer was made alright...way back in 2018 towards the beginning of Dark Force. We needed a big movie to release and Bill convinced me RAD was a big cult movie that would put Dark Force on the map. I personally know Talia Shire and her agent Peter Young for years now so it was no problem getting the offer through. It was 50,000 which knowing what I do now was probably a good thing she didn't even flinch at the offer. 50k to industry royalty like Talia is nothing and she had big ideas that the major studios would be making a new RAD. So that was that and Dark Force moved on to other things. Demon

Dark Force in the Facebook comments said its gonna have both....the English dub and uncut Italian version.

Accurate and properly translated English subtitles from the Italian script will be the key to this being a good release. English subtitles would be the kiss of death.

There are no fan subs for the Italian version, only subs for the bits cut out for the English version, and they were translated from a German print.
If the Blu gets them, DF will have created them from scratch.

The Italian version is around 13 minutes longer than the English dub,
many many trims and cuts making this a lot of work.
Might as well post another Bouchet for luck!

Sweet. Has the Italian version with subtitles and I'm all good. If there is a dub there too, then that's a bonus.

The English dub has Yul Brynner's voice, so it's worth checking out.
