It all balances out. I have purchased many, many bargain priced titles, so I don't mind paying out the nose once in awhile. It's my fault for not paying closer attention in this case, but I have it now, so all's well that ends well.
I was like that with the twin Peaks Box set. No way was I waiting for a price drop.

Even though these are streamed titles, I'm glad you had a good time.
They both have 4K+HDR, and I was impressed by Vudu but maybe Sony Ultra was a little bit better. I'll have to do some comparison viewing. The 4K Forum likes to do Screenshot Comparisons, maybe they will include Streaming. Like I said, to me it looks great and I enjoy it.

There's some exciting new for those of that own Oppo 4K disc players; the new beta firmware release allows all 4K discs to be forced into Dolby Vision playback. It is a new, optional setting in the HDR settings menu.

Some people are reporting that this has made for noticeable improvements on regular HDR10 disc playback. All of this is vey early as the beta firmware was just released yesterday. I am waiting for the official release myself.

You never know, there's a chance Indicator could release The Mad Magician at some point as it's a Columbia title. The Tingler, another Vincent Price Columbia title, was already mentioned as a possible release, but unfortunately no date has been set as far as I know. We can only hope mate.

All the Hammer titles that Indicator have issued so far on Blu-ray have all been Columbia releases.

That would be great for sure. Indicators' boxsets have been stunning so far, and I'd love a Vincent Price set from them.

An excellent film. I've actually got this on Blu-ray, but have only seen the 2D version. One of those films I remember seeing as a kid......a very long time ago.

Yep that and The Wickerman remake are the two worst insults to classic films I have ever seen.

I watched the remake with low expectations - and I wasn't disappointed.

I've never been a great fan of Nicolas Cage, even though I do like a couple of his films. However, Wickerman is definitely NOT one of them.

I was unaware, but I already have it. It's a great movie and the upcoming release is only $14.99. Helluva deal!

Amazon has a good Movie out called Gringo, and at the UV Stores you can pick up a deal to put it into your Amazon Collection in HD for $4.50. Here's a Link:

69 hours of stable internet...71 is the current record.

The Supervisor Of Technical Operations visited me yesterday and told me there were several ongoing issues in my area. He told me that some thieves wanting free cable TV service had disrupted internet service in the city nearest to me after they had hacked into the system. He said that thieves interrupt service somewhat frequently. Last year, when one of his techs confronted a thief, the thief opened fire on the tech with a hand gun! Thankfully, the tech escaped with only minor injuries.

Whether any of that is true, I don't know, but it makes for a more interesting story than the usual tech talk I have been given.

He also told me that Mediacom runs a single fiber line to my village and that it is all copper from that point.

He told me to call him directly if I have anymore problems, thereby allowing me to bypass the annoying robot that answers their main phone number. Maybe, just maybe, there is an end in sight to my internet nightmares?

I know how you feel when you ring them up and have to listen to recorded messages. Every time I get through to a call centre, it's the same - you get that patronising voice telling you how important you are to them and thanking you for hanging on in the queue.

Honestly though, I hope your issues are resolved very quickly. You deserve free internet for life just for your patience.
