That map is nice, but when it comes to the first chest I just check the first room and die if it's not there and just respawn till it appears. Usually takes about 5 tries.

I saw a video of him and his friends defeating Atheon without Time's Vengeance (the raid glitched and they could not get the "buff"). Can't recall if it was hard mode or not, but yeah.

Just bought the Astro A50 Wireless Headset. I didn't want to spend $300, but I didn't really like any other choices out there. And my iPhone earbuds just weren't cutting it. I know some of you who have teamed up with me have complained about all the beeping and weird noises my earbuds were making, so I made it a point to get some proper headphones. Will be looking forward to teaming up with you guys in the very near future to see how these badboys perform.

This Crota guy starting to get easier lol Joined a pick up group and got him down fairly quick 3 Gjallarhorns and an awesome sword bearer (me) really helped





Got the Black hammer!!! Makes up for crappy nightfall drops (7 energy) and other raid drops (mostly shards)

So I was testing out my new Astro A50 headset tonight, and while I was at the Tower I could hear distant church bells ringing. I've never heard them before coming through my normal speakers. Kinda cool I thought. Anyone else hear them before?

thanks Ken, Mega, and Stuck for the raid last night. sucks that we got stuck on those damn witches & shriekers!!

we almost had the final witch down that 1 time.......if we could've gotten another rocket or 2 on her, i'm sure that would've been it.

hopefully we can knock that part out quick tomorrow night and move onto Crota himself......and probably spend 2-3 hours working on him then!!

got the Deathsinger's Mantle last night!!

like Lizard said......easily one of the coolest pieces of armor i've seen in the game!!!

also checked out that ghost finder website last night.....that thing works like a charm!!!

can't believe some of the places where ghosts are hidden!!

yeah, there has to be a better strategy to take on all of those knights.

maybe take out the witch and shrieker on the right side (the one w/all the knights) then everyone move to the left side and then work on the final boss from the left side.....we didn't try that last night at all.

there's only the 2 or 3 knights on the left vs. like 500 on the right.

i think so. i didn't think we could start from the beginning if we have a save point in the middle somewhere.

Agreed. I thought the left side hardly had any action. I think we have to thin the herd some overall. It was almost luck to take the shrieker out on the right side with so many enemies. I noticed my arc sniper was taking a good junk of life off of the knights btw. It is just the new vangaurd sniper maxed though.

that must be why mine didn't see to do a whole lot of damage.....my sniper is an arc one as well.....but it's an old one so it only has 300 damage.

my luck with weapons is about as bad as my luck with armor drops. i'm still a rare rocket launcher.

i've gotten legendary and exotic machine guns but never a rocket launcher.

that must mean i'll be getting a rocket launcher when we're done w/this raid!!
