Hugging is a way to show affection, and love. That doesn't mean you have to hug anyone, just put your hand out and give it a shake. I don't know how old you guys are, but when I was younger, I probably didn't hug anyone but my wife, and my kids. Now that I'm a little bit older, I don't mind hugging at all. I'm not sure if age has something to do with it. It might.

For instance, a couple of months ago I was at a party where some of my long lost friends showed up. These were guys I grew up with that I hadn't seen for several years. We went through a lot back then, so of course I gave each and everyone of them a great big hug. I love those guys like they were (are) my family. We're all older gentlemen, so who knows how much longer we have on this earth. If anyone of you guys want a hug, step right up, I'm all arms.

I don't mind handshakes or high fives or the "arm wrestle" hand shake. But I feel like hugs should be reserved for real affection or intimacy. There are people who hug and I'm like, "I hardly know you buddy." Sometimes I don't even like the people who try to hug. In cases like that it feels phony to do it.

There are a select few people who I will hug. I'm not much of a hugger myself but if you're in that club, you're something special.

Guy is selling 16,084 movies on eBay for... $1 million. Supposedly there are some rare and OOP titles in there, but when you're averaging $62 a title for common Blu-rays and worthless DVDs, Laserdiscs, VHS and Beta, I don't think you'd be coming out ahead.

I wonder what brought this on...

Also, I burst out laughing when I saw: "Have one to sell? Sell Now!"

It's a show off listing....That's all. Nobody with the actual intention to sell that would list it at that price. It doesn't matter if he has rare OOP stuff in there...When you bulk sell you can't jack up the price on common items to compensate. It will never sell like that. Even $100,000 may be pushing it because many titles aren't even worth $6, but at least with that he may have the intention to sell.

Yeah he's just having a wank, this guy doesn't expect to get any serious offers at that price. Reminds me of the guys who go on Shark Tank with a middling company and ask for a massive valuation.

and then somebody who watches it will send it to a few people saying, "look how many movies this guy has! and he's selling them for $1m!"

then those people will click on the youtube link. then tell more people; who will then click on the link. all the while probably laughing at him and making juvenile comments on the youtube page. but no matter how hard they try to troll him, all they're doing is making him money by clicking on it.

pretty genius if you ask me.

For $1M, just buy the movies yourself.

I guess I should make some kind of weird video. So it can be spread around and I can make money.

I think a marriage proposal video would work fine. Don't you think? Just silly enough for it to never happen. or is it?

This guy designs home theaters, many that cost seven figures. I like his collection better.

How does that work? Do you have to enable ads? How much do you make from that? My old channel has 1M views but I don't have ads set up.

You don't make money of clicks anymore. You earn money off time watched. And yes, you have to have ads enabled.

Oh, okay. So I guess only movie reviewers/product unboxing vids will make money then.

It depends on your contract too though. That's the way YouTube/google have switched to. If you make a partnership with another company, your payment contract can be wildly different. So if he has a partnership he could get paid off clicks as well. And partnerships can be easy to get.

Also, once you start getting promotional deals you get paid via clicks too. I didn't watch the videos so if there's any promotion in it, he gets paid for that as well.
