just got shards from the first raid chest again. (i have 10 radiant shards now) couldn't find a group to actually do the raid yet.

did do the nightfall though, and i got the red hand IX and a engram which turned into the new saterienne rapier scout rifle which looks pretty sweet. also started the pocket infinity exotic bounty. i'm glad i never did any of these before the expansion.

i'll be on tonight around 8pm central looking to start the raid.

i noticed they updated the advisors page on bungie.net to show you both raid progress, not just vog. it looks like the hard mode crota is going to be level 33.

maybe take out the witch and shrieker on the right side (the one w/all the knights) then everyone move to the left side and then work on the final boss from the left side.....we didn't try that last night at all.

there's only the 2 or 3 knights on the left vs. like 500 on the right.

i think so. i didn't think we could start from the beginning if we have a save point in the middle somewhere.

I should be 31 by tomorrow so that should help with those level 31/32 enemies. And I gotta do some glimmer farming so I can buy more Heavy Ammo Synths.

i've got an upgrade ready for my raid gloves, hoping that pushes me over level 31......but i need some spirit bloom (i think anyway) before i can do the upgrade. i got the shards i needed for that upgrade last night.

i need to buy some special ammo synth's.....hope Xur has heavy ammo this week.....i'll load up w/20 again.

FYI: the Destiny app now tracks Crota's End. It also indicates that the hard mode Crota's End is level 33...

I'll see if I can get on earlier but I figure I'm treading on thin ice since I've been on at 8est the last couple days so I'm saying 10est to be safe(r).

VOG Hard mode @ 10est, maybe earlier?
1) Ken
2) Casey
3) Max
4) MaCruz maybe (think of all the shards! 100s of shards everywhere!)

If we're making good time and/or get started early, maybe we can do a checkpoint for Templar/exotic chest and Atheon for alternates.

Benny, Ken, Stuck: I watched some vid's as well. The best one I saw showed everyone going up on the right side, (not drawing the Witch outside), they all kill the right witch then the Purple Ball thing. Being on the right side draws several of the Knights toward that side. They then go to the Left side and kill the Left witch and Purple ball thing. Then its mayhem trying to kill the main witch. Do the OG Blu guys have any suggestions?
btw, the vid shows them taking out the level in @ 4 minutes.

that's kind of what i was thinking.....go clear out that right side where all of the knights are and then go do the easier side.

that one time i was able to hit the last witch w/my auto rifle from that far room.....just need to have someone watching for any knights that might sneak into the room.

maybe a titan can drop a bubble in there and blind them while other guys shoot her.

i would say the left side is def. the one to try and kill her from though b/c of how few knights there are over there.

the best suggestion i've heard is to skip that part all together and find someone with a crota checkpoint. you don't get any loot for the deathsinger, even though its one of the hardest parts
