They have 111,7xx feedback...... I'm guessing a "bad day" wouldn't kill them..... besides, most people (like me) wouldn't leave negative feedback if they canceled the orders due to an obvious pricing error......

From a UK buyer who said the same thing happened on Amazon UK a while back (Andrew of Mubi.com):

They had same deal on Amazon.co.uk just now. Luckily, most of my fellow Brit Criterion fans have gone to sleep, as it’’s 3.45 in the morning here. All the Criterions both in the UK and the US come from marketplace seller Supermart, who had Criterions for 49p (70 cents) a few months back- I managed to get 40 delicious titles that time around and 20 this. Not sure how Supermart can sell them for such a low price, but who cares?

honestly the Val Lewton set could be correct--that set has been on clearance for a while now.
I've seen it for $20 or so on other sites.
incredible box set btw.
I highly recommend that one if you can get it for less than $25.

It's kind of hard to beat...usually we are lucky when we get 50% off sales but this is like 90% off.

Wow, I signed on just in time... this is like the deal of the century if it all goes through! Cant say I'm disapointed but the Teshigahara box set would had been my #1 choice. Ended up getting $69 worth and would have loved to spend more but I don't need to over withdraw my checking account two months in a row...

Guys...if you did not get this already...get it ....Griffith Masterworks vol 1. ($10) from KINO usually $80-$100. I have this one and it is awesome! Also, the Douglas Fairbanks Jr. set which is usually $80-$100 is $9. Lubitsch in Berlin is $16, John Barrymore colletion $11. Too bad the Buster Keaton one is not on sale that would have been a major steal.

Just grabbed Human Condition and GI Joe box set.

Unfortunately the price changed on the Twin Peaks box set.

Glad I checked this forum before I went to bed. Thanks!

I assumed you were being facetious by the " " but if you're not...... then just go to Amazon, and it's one of the third-party sellers..... best way to find them, is to search "Criterion Box Set" or "Eclipse" etc.... and scan through the prices, and when you see "Available New From: " with a ridiculously low price.......... you're at the right place !!!!

I may have spent more than $600, but I probably got about 2 years worth of viewing!!!!!!!

This is great. I'm trying so hard to pace myself.

I guess I'll only do the boxsets because I end up saving 50+ dollars and that's a good excuse. For the single film releases, I'll just keep telling myself, "Wait for the Blu-ray, wait for the Blu-ray"

I'm not sure if anyone is interested but they have the "The Director's Label Series Box Set" for 5.67.
