Akshay Kumar has all his movies already out on blu rays. Thats the reason we are not saying any releases on the blu ray front

true if they continue to release Thank You's and Patiala Houses on Blu ray.. then they wont get the sales they want..

really? where can i find aankhen or khakhee? do you know of a store where sells these titles.

^^^ no I agree that even those two were worthless releases but thank you and patiala house are the two latest BDs. These companies need to realize that these titles are expensive .. I would buy khakhee on blu ray but not waste my money on patiala house or thank you.. Yash raj released a whole set of classics and all their SrK films on blu ray and they are the only consistant company. Cuz they made returns

'Ready' is most likely the next film to be released on the format. That should be a huge seller.

Anyway u r right about YRF, but where is Darr? Now that is a definite must buy whenever (if ever) it releases.

Yea ready must be next in line from the new releases. lets hope we get some good films in the coming months so we actually get to see them on blu ray.

My seller in india who is amazing, says Dum maro dum is next movie out next week, not bad movie, i like the action ,and Deepika's item song Dum maro dum, love the song, will buy the movie just for that song. LEts keep our fingers crossed, at least its not an Akshay Kumar movie

Hmm, I was really hoping for Darr. I'm sad that Anaganaga O Dheerudu is only getting DVD in the US. Any word on a Telugu release? A film with as much FX as AOD would look great on Blu!

Do you think these will be out Blu-ray?
Actually, I eager to watch "Delhi Belly" and "ZNMD".

plus, I heard "Tamas" will be out on blu-ray format.
What is that movie? which company?
I've never heard that title of film...

Delhi Belly ((UTV-Disney) (its a cult classic

iam pretty sure about its release in blu ray)

Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara ((Eros!!) i think they'll release this one and i hope the quality to be at par with housefull)

Murder 2 (Wave is the distributor! well iam not sure whether this will release on blu ray any time soon)

Singham ((Reliance Entertainment) ....Big Home Video will surely be releasing this on blu ray soon!)

yes you are correct

and only singham by bhv is the blu ray that would release very soon ! (i think so)

and i will be very happy if eros starts releasing their older movies in blu rays in decent quality as they have many good movies in their catalogue

You mean, it will be a cult classic? A film can't instantly become a cult classic until it becomes a cult classic over time. For example, a comedy like Hangover 1 or Bridesmaids are not even cult classics yet. they are still too new. Movies like Dil Chahta Hai (for Indians), Dazed & Confused, and Old School are now cult classics as we see that newer generations of kids love watching them.

Its sad, ime still waiting for Dum maro dum, and dhobi ghat, the studios say they are releasing it then they don't, it is better if they stay quiet.

I cant believe when we are ready to pay almost $20 a dvd and they can sell 50.000 easily globally, thats a million us dollars in their pocket and they can burn these blu rays for a couple of dollars in china or india, after the digital transfer, whey are they so inept. Then they shouldn't complain when people start doing digital downloads and piracy is rampant. Get them out fast.

ONce i start doing digital downloads of hindi movies from netflix then even i will stop spending the hundreds if not thousands of dollars on hindi movies if the studios treat us this way, technology will kill them they will learn the hard way. Everyone wants it yesterday. Who wants to watch a blu ray 8 months after it is released, Tees mar khan i was so excited to get the blu ray , i would have ordered from india , now you couldn't pay me to watch the blu ray, there are newer movies, and we go to the theatre, indian companies better learn or they will be losing a lot of money. Downloads are what people will start doing.

IN Us some weeks thirty blu rays a released every tuesday.

Its a 80s mini series directed by Govind Nihalani for TV. Great movie/ series.Its based onthe 1947 partition. Given its source, i very much doubt this will be released on blu ray. But keeping my fingers crossed and hoping for the best. It was released by Big Home Video
