Rich Rodriguez is a good coach, you have to give him time. You can't totally change the style of a football team and expect them to be winning on a consistent basis in two years. Give him the time he deserves. They've improved in almost every category from last year, he's making improvement. I fully expect Michigan to have a very good year next year.

I fully expect Miami not to lose to Clemson and North Carolina next year, and for them to actually have a shot at a BCS bowl game. Oh, and Rich Rodriguez better start winning next year, or he'll be looking for a new job real soon. I think that's the general consensus amongst the experts.

Yep, that WV team was booty till he got there, if Michigan can give him another 2 years I think it'll happen for them as-well.

He does need to show improvement each year otherwise they might send him packing next year.

In all honesty, if Miami does not at the very least win the ACC next year, the season will be a disappointment. Our roster is chock full of talent who gained experience this year. They must take it to the next level next season.

And I hope we beat you next year too! The Clemson-Miami games have been some great ones since Miami joined the ACC. Lots of OT and drama. It's a good thing.

It's nice to see competitive games between our schools, but I still prefer an easy and convincing win. It'll happen next year. I'm confident about that.

Yeah, after next season I expect them to be back in NC consideration.

I'd love to see Michigan fire R-Rod, he signs a big contact with maryland and brings us that Spread offense and recruiting he had at WV

If Harris progresses from his Sophomore to Junior year the way Clausen did, we'll be sitting pretty.

Can someone please explain to me exactly what happened to LSU on that last second? It looked like Les Miles was not prepared to possibly win.

Rich rod has brought us nothing but problems. I can't stand to see my wolverines go through this shit if Bo (RIP) was still alive he'd be furious about how the program is being run.

Ok. Huge Ole Miss fan here. I was at the game and thought, "Game over" after we bungled the onside. I fully expected them to throw for a first down. Then run to force us to use all our timeouts. I thought they would then bring their kicker out and let him do his thing. He was good from 51 earlier. I was absolutely dumbfounded. Don't get me wrong: I'm happy we won, but they really did beat themselves starting with the onside recovery. Just bad, bad coaching.

From what I saw, LSU recovered the onside kick. Lost yards on their first 3 plays. With 9 seconds left, they threw and caught the ball to get a first down with one second on the clock (which getting the first down stops the clock). Then on their last play they spike the ball. I know LSU was out of timeouts. So with the last second on the clock, did they not realize that they needed their field goal team and all they could do was either spike the ball or get a delay of game penalty? Sounds like Les Miles really screwed them on that call. (or lack of a call.)

Whats happened? They have to rebuild like everyone else, the fact is they don't have that instant pipeline like the U of old had, or Florida/Bama have now. They have to get down in the mud now and fight for recruits. They can't just stockpile them anymore like in the 90's. I think there are only a few guys that could turn it into that and I think he's one of that select few(or based on his record he was, things can change).

Dan Hawkins will be returning to Colorado next year, and the AD pretty much admitted that Hawkins' $3.1 million buyout is the reason. AD Mike Bohn wouldn't admit the buyout was the determining factor, but admitted it was a major consideration.

Colorado is still in debt after Gary Barnett's $3 million buyout. What was funny about Barnett's buyout was he only had 1 year, $1.1 million remaining on his contract, but Colorado was willing to pay almost 3 times that to get rid of him. Hawkins didn't do himself any favors after telling boosters "10 wins, no excuses" as his prediction for the year, and then going 3-8, including a home loss to rival Colorado State (who is also 3-8), as well as losses to Toledo and Iowa State. They still have to play Nebraska this afternoon as well.
