I'm trying to wrap my brain around all this...

I keep seeing people speculate that the hex bubble is what will bring mutants into the MCU. And while I could see that happening, and it sure seems like we are going that route, what I'm trying to figure out is how does this happen, and there be no mention of it during Spider-Man: Far From Home?

Since technically Wandavision takes place before, you would think something would have been mentioned during FFH about a giant Hex bubble exploding or expanding around the globe.

This probably will not result on mutants. They should be there already. Their genetic cousins are the eternals.

Either way i find it odd that there was no mention of any of this during FFH.

Who would have mentioned it? That movie was pretty much self contained. Thus far we have not seen in news cameras. And have no idea how the show will end.

I too caught the nice little meta joke , and well, let’s make a little more meta shall we. This weeks show was a reference to Malcolm in the Middle. On the show Vision would of played the father, played by the amazing Bryan Cranston. Well his character name on the show was Hal. What are the odds for a super computer to be named HAL twice

Well I mean if i remember correctly the beginning of FFR the school news was basically recapping what happened with everyone getting snapped and then the blip with everyone getting snapped back...etc. You would think they would have mentioned something about the bubble in a small town called "westview".

I just think that this situation is getting worse and worse to the point where Dr. Strange or the Avengers need to step in and handle what is going on. And if that happens then surely that would be a big enough event to warrant some kind of attention by everyone?

Unless something happens where Wanda completely wipes everyone's mind of what happened during Wandavision. I guess that could be one possibility.

It is a self contained school news. They only reference what happened to them.

The other thing about FFH and WandaVision is when they occur.

We don't know how soon after the funeral of Tony Stark FFH occurs. We do know that WV is sometime after the funeral, but also, not how long after. For all we know, the two could be happening at the same time.

Episode 6 rocked my world

The Kick-Ass reference was toooo sweeeeet! I was giddy.

Each episode continues to get better and better. At this rate, we’re looking at a classic first season here. Cannot wait to see what develops next week and how long they intend the final episodes to be. Hoping for 45+ minutes.

Not really

The chronological order is as follows for MCU (portion of content presented)
  • Ant-Man and The Wasp (2018)
  • Black Widow (2021 - not in theatres yet)
  • Avengers Infinity War (2018)
  • Avengers: Endgame (2019)
  • Spiderman: Far From Home (2019)
  • Wandavision (2021)

If you read Spider-Man: Far From Home Hinted Fury Knew About WandaVision's Westview - ScreenRant - 2/4/2021

Quote:
An easy-to-miss detail in Spider-Man: Far From Home suggests that Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson) was secretly aware of WandaVision’s Westview incident. It seems that even though Fury isn’t the director of SHIELD anymore, he’s still very much in-the-know when it comes to important events going on in the MCU.

It was the post-credits scene with Fury in Spider-Man: Far From Home that set up SWORD, the new organization that just made its official MCU debut in WandaVision. In Far From Home’s post-credits scene, it was revealed that Fury was never the character that was helping Spider-Man (Tom Holland) in the movie. In actuality, Captain Marvel’s Talos (Ben Mendelsohn) was using his Skrull shapeshifting abilities to pose as him on Earth, while the real Fury was on board a spaceship and in contact with his impersonator. As time passed, it became increasing apparent that Far From Home was hinting at SWORD, a peacekeeping organization in the Marvel comics similar to SHIELD, that fights alien threats. Viewers finally got to meet SWORD in WandaVision episode 4, where it was confirmed that they were monitoring what was happening in Westview.

Quote:
Regardless, it appears that Fury is working closely with SWORD, and is continuously being updated on their activities on Earth while he’s off-world. This is naturally consistent with who Fury is as a character in both Marvel Comics and the MCU. Whether he’s the director of SHIELD or not, Fury is an incredibly well-informed and well-connected person who keeps tabs on all sorts of unique situations. It could be that as the problem with Wanda and her fake reality of Westview continues to develop, it will reach a point where he will feel compelled to take a more active role. If that happens, Samuel L. Jackson’s Nick Fury could serve as an exciting guest character in an upcoming episode of WandaVision. This would make sense, given that it might help set up his own Disney+ series, Secret Invasion.

WandaVision is (currently) taking place 3 weeks after Avengers Endgame (in 2023)
Spider-Man Far From Home takes place 8 months later (in 2024).
Black Widow is supposedly set several years in the past, shortly after Captain America Civil War (in 2017).

If Wanda changes reality the people in that new reality will think that it’s always been that way.

So lets start thinking about what is going on with the Mindstone.
Is it a fake? Or taken from another reality.

It should be they only reference what they think happened to them. That shows Stark, Captain America, Wanda, Vision, Stark again as dead? How much of the student news is factual?

I enjoyed the Spiderman Far Away messed up timeline. A few minutes after endgame driving in Mexico, meet so called villain, then boom 8 months after.

What perked my ears was the reference to "Cateract"...and is it any wonder that when Vision/Pietro had their "dead" moments....the eyes looked like they had cateracts.

i'd imagine the eyes in those instances were to show/insinuate that they were actually dead.
