Thats the entire season 4 set. I have a hard time justifying spending $70 for 20 eps when I already own the last 10. Ud think if this was their plan from the beginning they would have released the entire season 4 BD back when they released the original complete set. Instead we got 4.5 which is now obsolete. Very frustrating.

OK, didn't realize that. I had bought the entire BSG Box Set in one swoop, rather than the individual season releases. I wasn't aware they aren't releasing a 4.0 box set at all...

But, you can't just skip over the first half of Season 4...!

At least rent the 4.0 DVDs from Netflix or something to watch those episodes, before you watch 4.5... then buy the full Season 4 Blu-Box whenever you can afford it, later... It's too awsome a series to just give up like that!

Ha Ha too late for that. I watched the show live and own everything but the first half of s4 on BD. Every season but four was already upgraded from DVD so they already double dipped me once. I also had s1 on HD-DVD so ive bought that one three times.

Here's another thing to show u how Universal operates. Tuesday, the blu-ray version of Razor was released. Why release that the week before u release season four which, coincidentally, includes Razor? Ud think theyd release s4 first so the people who bought it would know they already had Razor instead of setting up the scenario where some fans will buy Razor this week the buy it again next week. Wonderful.

EDIT: Razor - episode 1 of Season 4, not 3. Sorry, typo!

Thanks for the above info! I just finished season 3 and was about to start season 4. It's amazing how your perspective changes on certain things. When this series initially aired on TV several years ago, I had no interest in watching. After hearing and reading a lot of positive reviews about it, I jumped on this set when it fell to $119 and I haven't looked back. I really regret not giving this series a chance when it aired on TV, but I'm making up for lost time now

At least you didn't have to deal with year long waits between half-season and season cliffhangers. Those things ruled my life for the period BSG ran.

Very true. I guess I can't complain too much, can I?

I'm sure that must have been rough. I missed out on the BSG storm and picked up the entire series from the UK last year. It took a good few months to get through them all but I really enjoyed it. It was totally worth the blind buy. At least I didn't have to wait a year with those cliff hangers..but I had to with Lost.

Actually, repeating 1-6 would probably be fine too

Also, do NOT forget to watch the Director's Cut version of various episodes. Razor and the series finale work best in the extended version.

I still haven't seen The Plan...that was the one downfall of snagging the UK set vs. the US one (second release).

I decided to skip Razor but oh well

I only have one 3 episodes left of Season 4 and wondering where this is heading. I've enjoyed every season a lot but nothing compares to the thrill of Season 1 and it seems it's lost that edge. It was thrilling not knowing what the Cylon's wanted it and what their goal was and now I'm not sure what to make out of it. I still like it just not the same compared to the first Season.

I thought the second half of season 4 (after they find
[Show spoiler]Earth
) recaptured the feeling of the hopelessness of Season 1 myself.

I agree with the hoplesness part but it's just missing that feeling. For example one of my favorite episodes from the first season was when they had to jump every 30 mins to avoid the Cylons, that was intense. I know it can't always be like that but I don't how to explain it. I still love the show but it's different is all I'm saying. I miss all the scenes with Gaiz and 6, I loved those scenes and now they occur less often. I know the show has to move on to different things but I liked a lot from the first season but I still enjoy all the others just as much.

Do yourself a favor and watch them right now!

This series is some of the best sci-fi I've ever seen. Television and movies alike

I finally finished all of the seasons! Man, What a roller-coaster ride! The only thing left for me to watch is The Plan (which I'll do this weekend). I can't remember a show that was this exhilerating. This has definately become my greatest BD purchase ever (and it may even beat out Star Wars in a few months).

I love me some BSG and feel the same way about it as you do. however, i think the starwars collection on blu will surpass even Avatar as far as sales on blu are concerned. Too many people across the globe, man, woman & child have been waiting a very long time for this to be releaed in HD. This fall BD sales history will be made and broken--bank on it!

but yes, BSG was incredible, i finished watching the entire series on blu a couple of months ago and yes the plan was incredible. i found that the plan and razor were two of the most important standalone movies/features that were offered in a series because they tied so much together and made so much "behind the scenes" sense of things.

let's face it, we can never get enough BSG! I may watch it again later this year, until star wars comes out!
