The point was, this is a typical McG film -- really boring, too much over the top elements and all or nothing directing, and really a lack of cohesive leadership from him. He wasn't the right director for this film.
OK thanks. Is it OK if I hate the movie now that you have outlined why I should? I really want to make the right descision, so I am turning to you for guidance.

That's a good one. I still can't get over that CGI crap. That was atrocious to me. I wonder if that's the part they showed Arnold. Man, that was just laughable.

Do whatever you want to do. I really don't care. If you single me out like you have (and you continue to do), then I'm gonna tell it like it is.

Considering I'm not speaking to you face to face and this isn't the first time you've called me out, I take what you have to say at face value and I don't give you the benefit of the doubt either.

Logan's pretty cool though after you get past that. I'm still waiting to have a conversation with Squid without the snide comments. Will it ever happen? Who knows?

It fit the film's flaws that's for sure, but it looked terrible. To me, it was just the perfect ending to a McG film. He never ceases to surpass how crappy some of his films can be.

I could tell it was a CGI Arnold, but after the initial introduction, I was able to let it go and just watch the action - yeah, that was not possible with the Scorpion King segment. The Arnold CGI was decent enough for me to not focus on it once the action kicked in. Pretty well done.

yes it wasn't HOLY SH** ITS 1984 ARNOLD! amazing

but i thought they did a HELL of a job replicating him and it looked more realistic than any CGI rendering i've ever seen....by far

now as far the scorpion king....i moderately enjoyed the second mummy until that point....

Yeah and that's the part that bothered me the most. Not only did it look crappy to me...it just sent the message that we want to throw in this crappy part trying to make it just like the others and use Arnold but not use him instead settling with the CGI part. Just typical McG junk.

It looked more like Mr. Olympia Arnold than anything else. Did the CGI version of him jack up roids or bench press 500 pounds before that take? I remember him being muscular in the others when he was transported to earth naked but nowhere near his days as a bodybuilder big. That bothered me too.

Have you guys cleared these opinions with the thread authority to make sure they are correct and/or acceptable?

I only ask because you are both venturing very near the "free thinking" threshold, and that behaviour may not be tollerated.

well the body wasn't cgi
that was some other guy's body, just the head was cgi
i didn't think he was insanely bigger than Arnold in the other movies but moderately bigger. but of course, who's to say that all t-800 had to be the exact same size, its understandable to assume they tried other things before they came up with the final design of the T-800's that go back in time
sort of a trial and error experiment
