Clearly it will be something like(not in order):

Alabama
Florida
LSU
Oregon
Georgia
Texas A&M
Ohio State
USC
Stanford
Oklahoma

I don't even need to know the schedules or the teams. It's always something like this. I threw in Texas A&M because of the Manziel factor.

I'd say that's mostly right, but I doubt Oklahoma or LSU will be top 10. I would replace them with Louisville and probably Clemson. Oklahoma State has a chance at sneaking into the top 10 as well. Notre Dame would have been a top 10 team if Golson hadn't gotten suspended for the season.

If we're basing rankings on where they're likely to finish the season I'd put Ohio St. at #2 or 3 given their schedule. Nearly every game against a decent opponent is at home for them and the only halfway decent non-conference opponent is Cal.

Home - Buffalo, San Diego St., Florida A&M, Wisconsin, Iowa, Penn St., Indiana
Away - California, Northwestern, Purdue, Illinois, Michigan

A Texas A&M and Utah player were killed in a car accident Monday night. RIP.

http://espn.go.com/college-football/...lled-car-crash

Quote:
College football players from Texas A&M and the University of Utah were killed in a single-car accident in northern New Mexico on Monday night, according to Texas A&M University officials.

Polo Manukainiu, a redshirt freshman defensive lineman at Texas A&M, and Gaius Vaenuku, an incoming freshman defensive tackle at Utah, were killed in a rollover accident near Cuba, N.M. A third person in the car, Andrew Uhatafe, 13, also was killed.

New Mexico State Police said the accident occurred when the driver over-corrected and the vehicle rolled several times. Police said alcohol wasn't a factor and it appears the driver was the only one in the car wearing a seatbelt.

Police said Manukainiu and Uhatafe were ejected from the vehicle and died at the scene. Vaenuku was transported from the scene, but was pronounced dead in an ambulance while en route to a hospital.

Another incoming Utah freshman and passenger in the car -- offensive tackle Salesi Uhatafe -- survived, as did his father, Salesi, Sr. Uhatafe is Manukainiu's stepbrother and Andrew "Lolo" Uhatafe's brother.

"Everyone who knew Gaius is heartbroken today," said Utah football coach Kyle Whittingham. "He was the kind of young man who lit up a room and his future in football and life had no boundaries. Words cannot express our devastation over the loss of Gaius. This is a sad day not only for University of Utah football, but for everyone whose lives Gaius crossed or would have crossed but for this tragedy. Our hearts go out to Gaius' and Salesi's families, and to the Texas A&M coaches and players. We are praying for the speedy recovery of Salesi and his father."

The college football players were all graduates of Trinity High School in Euless, Texas. They were apparently traveling from Utah to Texas. Around 7:30 a.m. ET Monday, Manukainiu posted the following on his Twitter account: "22 hour drive back to Texas on no sleep. Oh my."

"We lost a terrific young man," Texas A&M head football coach Kevin Sumlin said in a statement. "Polo was loved by his teammates and coaches. Anyone who came in contact with him was struck by his sense of humor and smile. My heart aches for his mom and family members."

The New Mexico State Patrol said its officers responded to a single-car rollover accident involving a white Toyota Sequoia SUV shortly before 9 p.m. ET Monday at mile marker 83 on U.S. 550, about 80 miles north of Albuquerque.

Manukainiu, 19, was redshirted at Texas A&M last season, but was expected to be involved in the Aggies' defensive line rotation this coming season. ESPN Recruiting Nation ranked him as the country's No. 33 defensive end prospect in 2012, after he helped lead Trinity High School to an undefeated regular season and the third round of the Texas Class 5A Division I playoffs. He had 43 tackles and 1 1/2 quarterback sacks as a senior.

There's NO WAY that USC will be in the Top 10. NO EFFIN' WAY. Not after the 2012 season.

Yeah... they couldn't even beat Georgia Tech in a bowl, and you have a month to prepare for a one trick pony offense. Hopefully Vad Lee fixes that this year.

USC was only ranked 3rd behind Oregon and Stanford in the Pac-12 preseason media poll. So I'm guessing they'll be something like 15-20 in the preseason national polls.

When I seen USC I assumed he was talking about South Carolina.

I'm sure that's the first time that statement has ever been made. Hope UNC beats their a$$.

These are the same voters who routinely put teams who've done nothing significant in 20 years into the polls based on their legacy from 30 years ago.

Yeah, exaggeration, but not as much as it should be.

Yeah, that's what I assumed as well just because South Carolina has a good chance at being in the preseason top top while Southern Cal will likely be in the 20s if they're ranked at all.

Oregon's new $68 million football facility is insane. It's complete with a locker room, coaches office, meeting room, press conference area, cafeteria, barber shop, weight room, and a player's lounge with six gaming stations. Nike founder Phil Knight is footing the entire bill for the project, which will open in early-August.

Yeah, that is HUGE for recruiting. It's got to be hard to compete with those kinds of facilities.

Manziel just keeps looking like a bigger tool. In an interview he actually said "try walking a mile in my shoes." Ya Johnny, it must be so rough being born with a silver spoon. Typical 1% inheritance baby mentality.

Go to http://www.usc.edu and see which school's website you are on.

I tend to go with ESPN's abbreviations during their telecasts...

USC = Southern California
SCAR = South Carolina

Can't stand USC, but this is true. There is only one USC, and they are located in California.

Yeah in most cases when you see USC you know its Southern Cal but he was talking about the top ten, like you said no way in hell SC would be in the top 10 this year. So that's why I assumed he was talking about South Carolina.

Phil Knight has made Oregon in general. No player is going to head to Oregon over USC or CAL unless they can play at a school like that.
