Decided to start the grind to get Husk of the Pit in the Fist of Crota mission and surprisingly I got it in 2 tries

That is awesome. So me and you both got one then.

I played with it a bit last night and see why people like it. After the 1st upgrade it seem pretty steady and fires fast enough to do plenty of damage. I can't wait to get it upgraded.

I also got the Praetorien Foil which I didn't have either. Overall last nights hard raid was very rewarding. If I get boots after tonight's run on Crota I will be stoked.

I got the first Crota chest yesterday and got a titan mark, radiant shards, and No Land Beyond.

No Land Beyond looks and sounds cool, but man does it really underwhelm. Rate of Fire is poor (bolt action), has really bad range because of iron sights (although the range scale shows it really high), and doesn't even have that much ammo total (like 26). Hope they buff it sometime soon.

yeah, i think my wife is secretly hating this game as well. 2nite will probably be my last night on this week. but we'll see.

we ran the daily, weekly, and nightfall last night in a little under 2 hours. other than shards, energy, and coins, i got Truth.....finally something other than my RARE rocket launcher.

now the task of juggling weapon slots since my primary and heavy are now both exotic.

Wow you guys have been having quite good luck in Destiny for sure, my luck has gone pear shaped this week. 12 ascendant energy in nightfall, and must have made close to 30 attempts at getting Husk of the Pit with no luck.

after 2nite i should be over level 31. 1 more shard should do it.

but then i have 1 or 2 more upgrades on my raid gloves and then a crap ton of upgrades on my chest piece.

i don't even want to think of what i'll all need if i get a raid helmet or boots!!

but yes, i can't wait to attempt the flawless raider trophy. i'd actually like to knock this trophy out next.....that way i know i'll be able to get the platinum.

otherwise if it's the last one you need, it'll just be something hanging over my head ALL THE TIME!!
