Louisville has a weak schedule w/o a doubt. I hate the schedule, but it is what it is.

Agreed. You can't help your schedule that much when the rest of your conference isn't very good. It's not Louisville's fault that the rest of the conference needs to step their game up. Louisville just needs to worry about one thing and that is winning. In some cases winning convincingly.

Ohio got the most votes in the coaches poll of anyone they play and they are only ranked 40th. Even if every other team in the country has a loss I could see them not getting into the NC game, just like Boise, TCU and Utah in past years (all of whom had wins over top 25 teams).

But Louisville at least has being in a BCS conference on their side.

What do you all think about Michael Dyer coming to Louisville? I think he can help in a supporting role as long as there won't be any injuries to there main RB's.

I completely forgot about him. I see he's eligible immediately. Definitely doesn't hurt to have him and his experience should help a little.

It wasn't just a good pick, it was a damn good pick. You're going to feel pretty darn foolish in a few years when Manuel is an All Pro QB. He's having a really good start to camp, I couldn't be more impressed with him at this point.

And the Lions had a good camp/preseason as well when they went 4-0 in 08, how did they finish that year... o yeah 0-16

They inherited the Big East's BCS berth for one season, but starting next season when there is a four-team playoff the AAC won't be guaranteed a spot in one of the six top bowl games. The top team from the group of the AAC, MAC, Conference USA, Sun Belt, and Mountain West is guaranteed a spot in one of the top bowls.

I still can't believe you buy that. I have a hard time believing Buffalo couldn't have traded down a dozen picks and still taken Manuel. I saw absolutely nothing from his college play to indicate he'll be any better than a Christian Ponder level NFL starter.

I don't need to buy it, Chad. I believe it to be the truth. I think we got ourselves a franchise quarterback for the next 10+ years. Obviously only time will tell who is right, but I honestly expect great things from him.

Those of you who are season ticket holders, when do you all get them in the mail, it should be pretty soon since the season kicks off in 3 weeks.

I'm still waiting for mine as is another ucla season buddy. My brother is a usc holder and he got his tickets a while back ago.

Only problem is he can't throw with any accuracy. Have you ever seen him play? Strong arm and a good athlete but no idea where it's going past 15 yards and not the best decision maker. Other than that he's great. At least has CJ to hand the ball to.

I'm still waiting for my UH tickets. We are building a new stadium so this year we are playing home games in 3 different stadiums. So I'm sure that is another reason for the delay and getting the tickets out this year.

He's been deadly accurate in training camp. We'll see how he looks in the games, but the fan base in Western New York is PUMPED.
