So I didn’t watch the stream but I skimmed through the comments. I saw several mentions of Lambert’s Bava’s GRAVEYARD DISTURBANCE. Was there mention of this getting released? I love that cheap horror tinged GOONIES knock off.

They released 1 title last month and one this month. The Yeti is coming soon along with The Banker, Chinese Hercules/Bruce's Ninja Secret and Hollywood High/another title but ok.

If I saw a schedule of up to a year's worth of upcoming titles (I don't need street dates, just titles), maybe I'd join this club but I can't do so without knowing what I'll be adding to my collection. I only like about 40% of what DF puts out. Tell me you're doing lots of new-to-BD slashers and I'll join right now

Dark Force has already announced a fair few titles that are upcoming, a similar amount Vinegar Syndrome reveal when people buy their yearly subscription. If you like Dark Force's releases then this membership is perfect, if not then leave it.

There is a level of trust VS has earned that make yearly subs something that people are willing to blindly invest in. DF hasn't done anything to earn that kind of trust. They've actually done the opposite.

A genius in the midst! I don't think VS and DF even need to be in the same sentence regarding quality. I think DF wants desperately to be VS, but just following their pricing strategy doesn't make them such. Easy pass even if the titles were priced $10 apiece.

In terms of actual movies, I've found DF to release a lot higher percentage of entertaining content overall than VS. VS has top notch transfer quality and packaging, but a lot of the movies are filler content IMO with a few "halo" releases to bookend the lesser releases.

I appreciate that Dark Force released both Mirror, Mirror flicks but a good chunk of their lineup consists of titles either borrowed from Code Red or given to DF because of a lack of interest on Bill's part. A good chunk, not everything, to be clear. VinSyn's double dips, OTOH, have been kept to a bare minimum. And, yes, presentation is a big factor in why some labels sell more than others - like it or not. DF has been making strides in this area and that's appreciated.

Vinegar Syndrome have been around for a lot longer and have had time to perfect their business.
