Weird fact I discovered looking up North Dakota St. They won the last two FCS national championships and both times they beat Georgia Southern in the national semifinal and Sam Houston St. in the national championship game. They're now 3-0 against D1 teams in since 2011.

Georgia Southern is finally leaving for the FBS too (along with Appalachian State.... wonder if Michigan will give them another game then....). They're both joining the Sun Belt next year.

They beat Colorado St. 22-7 in 2012 and Minnesota 37-24 in 2011. And actually going back another year they beat Kansas 6-3 in 2010. So it's 4 straight wins against D1 teams.

Does beating Kansas in the last 4 or 5 years count? (and yes, Georgia Tech lost to Kansas in that time... and I was at the game and felt like crying. but we DESTROYED them the next year in Atlanta)

App St and Michigan play in the next year or so I believe.

Busy travel weekend for me, later on my bosses invited me to head down to Nashville, TN to watch the UK/WKU game (hope WKU wins) then I turn around tomorrow and go to Louisville home opener.

I don't think so. UNI should be good this year but they lost their best receiver for the year and I just don't think the team is good enough to beat Iowa State. Next year UNI should be very good and I think they could have a real shot at beating Iowa in next year's opener.
