A new look to my Dr. No custom cover, with the original TT in the gold gradient on the spine:

I redid my redo on "A View to a Kill" so I could fit the tagline in...which do people prefer?

I prefer the second one, which match better with the rest of your Bond collection covers

I agree. The second one is better in my opinion.

Speak of the devil :-) I also prefer that stuff be included.

Here's my version of Diamonds Are Forever. I try to incorporate as much of the flavour of the original poster as I can.

Maybe you should've also put a pic of the car on its other side on the reverse - famous Bond continuity error

My friend, your in-depth knowledge of pop-culture trivia is astounding. Wonder how many will get it? Ha ha.

I'm not sure the fix they tried is that obvious, unless you mention the fact if there was enough room (and another ramp to flip the car on its other side) for the car to flip again to the opposite wheels then it could have just driven out on four.

Unless the alley was really weird.

Loving all these Bond covers, one thing I dislike is all the 'forever's' on the DAF poster. I imagine Smithers from The Simpsons going 'Forever forever forever forever forever forever....' in his drag race announcer voice"

Dislike it or not, that is how it was on the theatrical poster. For my Original TT cover I tried the descending "Forever"'s on the spine but couldn't make it work but did keep them for the front cover:

Ha ha. Yes.
But it's also in the title song, echoing into infinity (and in my head). It's just one of the many idiosyncracies of older poster designs that don't correspond to modern aesthetics. Darren and I don't mess with the classics :-)

And kudos to Nissen for working the "Never Say Never Again" poster for my custom cover. I was having trouble working the UK quad into a Blu-ray front cover and Nissen agreed to help me out (for a modest fee)

Just look at his wonderful work:

As for "A View to a Kill" I will compromise. I will make the first three lines smaller and the TT at the larger size. I quite like the AVTAK tagline so I will keep that where it is. I remember one reviewer (007 historian John Brosnan) complaining at the time that the taglines anticipated fight between May Day and 007 does not happen, so the tagline has a nostalgia element.

I'm also working "Thunderball" with the "Look Up!" "Look Down!" and "Look Out!" tags in place. The original TT for "Thunderball" looks great on the spine BTW, with my Gold gradient applied.

.

Has anyone made a Minority Report custom cover? I couldn't find one in the running list on the 1st page. I think the original art is hideous and the steelbook is just too expensive.

Haha, you know me. After all, I am the guy who had to correct the Jaws Tour guide on a few things earlier this year - he should've been paying me

Thank you to everyone for the e-mails and PMs regarding my redo of the "Never Say Never Again" custom cover, but I want to make it understood - the credit goes to Nissen for fitting the UK Quad on the front cover.

Since he may want to use the same art again for another commission I cannot share that custom cover without his permission as I have done with my other custom covers.

Here's my compromise on the AVTAK custom. I wanted to use the white and red TT from this poster, but it all looked unbalanced when I put it where the old TT went, so the tagline actually helps balance it out. With the TT in the lower position (without the TT) the sky looks empty:

Here's "Thunderball":

I appreciate the thought, but you can share this freely, Darren.

Slight suggestion: Fill the second "Look" with white for legibility?
