DiCaprio is gonna have a big year for movies, Inception and Shutter Island, which i think Shutter Island looks excellent!

I cannot wait until this movie hits. That score is amazing, really ups the intensity factor. IMO, DiCaprio+Nolan=

Yup! May pop in the Departed this weekend since I just watched Casino and Goodfellas too. Or perhaps Memento.

I've found that most people at the theater are lame and like to make themselves part of the experience by adding their own asides and noises, especially during the previews.
There doesn't seem to be anything remotely funny about the trailer. Were they applauding the Sorority Row and Halloween trailers by chance? Now those are laughable.

Shutter Island as well. can't wait to see it. I wonder if Nick Fury will be in Iron 2 as in development to a Nick Fury the year after.

Does anyone else think that the music in the teaser sounds like a mix between Transformers and The Dark Knight? The heavy thuds (Transformers) and the screeching sounds (Dark Knight); or is it just me?

Saw the trailer at another site - looks quite interesting. Nolan has proved he is a fantastic director - but the thrilling thing about Nolan is that he tells "stories". So many directors lose the story in their efforts to make blockbusters. Nolan is up there with the likes of James Cameron.

Nolan has earned me in the seat opening weekend - no questions asked, until he proves he can make a bad movie.

Inception looks like a fun headtrip (on the level of the Prestige). Looking forward to it!

isn't the thuds and the screeching sounds is the mainstream with trailers in general nowadays anyways.

It's not just you. Although I thought it was straight from Dark Knight, never really caught the Transformers similarity.

The Transformers reference specifically comes from the Super Bow teaser that came out earlier this year.

From when I saw the teaser for my first time, let's hope the quality is more towards TDK though.

Maybe it's my subconscious that automatically loved the teaser for the "Why So Serious?" similarity.

I keep trying to watch the high quality one I posted but there's someone behind me who hasn't gone for lunch yet haha.

Well it's music from Hans Zimmer who did the score for TDK as well as supposedly overlooking the score for both Transformers movies.
