Actually, the new clip of the CG Yoda is on the ROTS DVD, I don't remember which featurette it's on though. Rob Coleman and his animation team animated clips of Yoda from ESB to practice and show Lucas that an animated Yoda could be done, which they were hesitant to do on TPM.

Coleman and the animation team then redid the Yoda scenes in TPM to warm up for the Yoda scenes in ROTS.

The special editions are better anyway, updated effects etc i wish they would update the effects on other older films such as ROBOCOP and ALIEN 3.

Horrors!
Putting Christiansen into ROTJ is such an unforgivable travesty, because my enjoyment of that movie so depended on seeing Sebastian Shaw there, fully intact and in no way resembling any other image of Darth Vader or Anakin Skywalker that we ever saw.

I agree. In a lot of cases, it would be preferable to doing a remake of an otherwise perfectly good movie.

The whole "original fan" thing is bull. That's just someone's way of saying you're not a true fan if you don't agree with them.

I don't find the mention of 'rape' in jest to be funny at all. From either side.

The Young Anakin thing makes perfect sense though.

"Luminous beings are we, not this crude matter."

If Obi-Wan can return not cut in half in the afterlife as a blue glowie, and Anakin can return with no scars, hair, and limbs that he hadn't had in years... why would there be any limits to his ghost. As Darth Vader he was little more than a walking corpse, kept alive by machines. He can manifest as the "Good Man he once was". Especially if you follow Ben's line of thought that "He ceased to be Anakin Skywalker and became Darth Vader, when that happened the good man who was your father was destroyed." Why wouldn't he manifest as the man he remembers himself being. Especially if/when he might get to reunite with Padme on the other side.

Did I not already say, in clarification for the benefit of the slow, that I was kidding? Sweet merciful mother of Moses!
