I just like them as a collecting item + movies are classics. If ppl are worrying about these movies in digipack, do not worry they will probable be release 5 times more like it always happens

I would not mind paying a little extra to get the BD version in the regular case. I am buying a movie, and not a book. But that is just my opinion on the subject.

Because it's not the Director's Cut maybe? For starters.

Thats true but the fact that is coming out on Blu gets a purchase from me. I like Warner's choices for the digipaks though. One flew over the cuckoos nest is a great movie and so is Dirty Harry.

Has there been word on which Harry Potter movies will get the Digibook treatment? Any chance it could be all of them?

The only problem I have with this packaging is that damn black security sticker they put on the back of the book,I got NBK tonight,I took my time unwrapping the plastic so I wouldn't bend the cardboard case, slowly peeled back the security sticker on the outside back of the case and wouldn't you know, there is this bubble in the place where the sticker was put and now the case is all F@@ked up! I hate those damn security stickers! DAMN YOU Warner Bros! Damn You! $30 bones down the drain! Yeah Yeah the movie works fine but I am real assinine about keeping my BD cases looking good

I don't care for them TBH I don't hate them just don't like them, my only concern is it doesn't close like a regular case (and protecting the disc from falling out) aside from that I just don't care... I do think it's a good sign that a studio is trying to add more content hoever they can, so that's nice.

I agree that some kind of velcro strap would help

Hypothetically it will be all of them, in time for the release of half blood prince

Natural Born Killers was my first Warner Blu-ray "coffee table book" purchase yesterday. While I can't say that I'm in love with the packaging, I will say that I don't hate it and I find it to be a bit "classy".

Weird. My security sticker was stuck to the back of the paper insert (with the info and UPC) that is sticked to the back of the "book". Also, I think the word you were looking for is "anal", not "asinine".

Has anyone bought a digibook in Canada? For example on NBK it says....

"Natural Born Killers (Bilingual French/English) [Blu-ray]"

I just am concerned at which part is bilingual - hopefully not the actual book but rather just some outer packaging inside the plastic which can be taken off.

Any clues?

Another thumbs up to this packaging. It makes the releases feel special, and as blu is quite lacking in the variety of fun packaging that DVD enjoys, I feel these digibooks should be encouraged.

And yes, I loved the Close Encounters package too.

I hope they release THE RIGHT STUFF as a coffee table book eventually. This film is high on my want list.

Loved the Close Encounters packaging as well

Hopefully we'll see more Spielberg movies released like that (Jurassic Park? Jaws? Yes please)

Default blu-ray books?

Do you guys like the book look that some WB blus are getting. I was just wondering cause I kind of like it because it makes them look like more of a special edition. The only thing so far I don’t like about it is that (may sound stupid) but it ruins the flow of the movie when it sits on the shelf, ya know what I mean. All the movies look the same but now you look and they look a little out of place. Also worried about wear and tear.

So for the book box look that I have seen is NBK, bonnie and Clyde, and dirty Harry.

I know what you mean, i prefer all blu-ray covers to be the same so they "look" nice when stacked together

On the live action front, just in time for the Presidential election, Warner will deliver a 3-disc JFK: Ultimate Collector's Edition on DVD, including special packaging, 3 hours of bonus content and collectible memorabilia, as well as an all new documentary, The Kennedy's: America's Emerald Kings. This title will also be available on Blu-ray Disc format in Digibook packaging.

I personally have a problem with these digi-books. Variation is nice.
