Amazon is still $5 cheaper but with a gift card the difference is insignificant (plus I'll have instant gratification ).

Superman figure is probably included at another retailer, so that if someone wants to own both, they're forced to go to two different stores and buy two copies of the movie.

Heh. Well, I just mean they kinda missed the chance to release a Superman.

And they're slowly building the core Justice League group.

Wonder Woman, Green Lantern, Batman. Shame they didn't do one for Superman: Doomsday and Final Frontier. That could have gotten us Supes and Flash or Martiain Manhunter.

An original story from award-winning animation/comics writer Dwayne McDuffie (Justice League) rooted in DC Comics’ popular canon of “Crisis” stories.

Bruce Timm (Superman Doomsday, Green Lantern) is executive producer. Lauren Montgomery (Wonder Woman, Green Lantern) and Sam Liu (Superman/Batman: Public Enemies) are co-directors.

In Justice League: Crisis on Two Earths, a “good” Lex Luthor arrives from an alternate universe to recruit the Justice League to help save his Earth from the Crime Syndicate, a gang of villainous characters with virtually identical super powers to the Justice League. What ensues is the ultimate battle of good versus evil in a war that threatens both planets and, through a diabolical plan launched by Owlman, puts the balance of all existence in peril.

All-star voice cast led by Mark Harmon (NCIS) as Superman, James Woods (Ghosts of Mississippi) as Owlman, Chris Noth (Sex and the City, Law & Order) as Lex Luthor, William Baldwin (Dirty Sexy Money) as Batman, Gina Torres (Serenity, Firefly) as Super Woman and Bruce Davison (X-Men) as the President.

Attached are a few images ... one is of Owlman and the other is of the Justice League arriving for battle along with the "good" Lex Luthor.

Release is so close that I can almost touch it. Can't wait!

Nicely done. Unfortunatly I never read the comic series so I don't know how closely it follows the storyline. The art is pretty darn close to Ed McGuinness' art. (Even Captain Marvel's eyes are closed the whole time.)

I enjoyed this one more than Wonder Woman and Green Lantern: First Flight, which have been the 2 better releases from the DC Universe Original Animated movies line.

Now I wish I had gotten an advanced copy of the blu-ray. The DVD picture in a PS3 looked flawless so I can't see the blu-ray picture being too much better. The audio might have been great had I not watched this in the middle of the night in an apartment with neighbors trying to sleep.

Overall.....if the trailer looks good to you, then I'd easily call this a "blind buy".

I love superman and batman but I hated this movie couldn't even finish it. Green Lantern and doomdsday were a lot better.

I would love to know when this disc was authored. The presence of only Dolby Digital leads me to conclude it was made at some distant point in time, when Warner was still doing things that way. A shame, because we all know they will never redo it.

Went to Best Buy after work, and picked up the regular version...i wanted the exclusive, but they were all gone. I asked the sales associate in the media department if they had more in the back and he told me they had 8 on the shelf in the morning and one guy bought them all and they didn't have any more in the back. He said there's a slim chance they will get more since these are 1st production runs.

damn you hoarder!!
