I think he seems to go for a cruel approch as he gives indie films never heard of good rating, and makes up his mind before the movies out

In my day, we were starting to wonder whether Jeff Craig of SixtySecondReview's comments were 100% genuine, and he disappeared in time for David Manning to show up... ...Looks like there'll be a new historical statue in the gallery. ![]() |

They felt more prudent to put a wizard in the title, as it might be, like, y'know, a HINT. ![]() Quote:
And y'know somethin'?: He's right. They just darn well could. ![]() (Although it would take a desperate year of filler and more Golden Globe cribbing to get up there, it has more right to the honor even than "Star Trek", I dare to say-- Unless the committee pulls out their old Fellowship vs. Return of the King excuse and says "No, let's wait till the 7B movie comes out; that way, it'll be like we're nominating ALL of them!" Guys...don't pass up your chance. This one earned it.) |

I never got that by the way. Did they really think no Americans would know the legends of the philosopher's stone or have ever heard of alchemy? I wouldn't be all that familiar with the concept myself if not for Fullmetal Alchemist, but I still had heard of alchemy and the stone apart from it. I just hope they include an option to watch Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone on an American release at some point. It'd be easy as pie with seamless branching too. |
