That's better than Iron Man 2, with 5 reviews and 1 being rotten, with a few bad ones needing to be added from Britian.

Ok so I didn't expect much from this movie at all. No employees at the employee show last night at work were watching Shrek and I plan to sneak in before we open tonight and watch Shrek with the family. So I watched MacGruber last night. I have to say all of us didn't stop laughing for the better part of the movie. It was super funny if you like R rated comedies. It is not for kids by the way. It really surprised all of us and not one person had anything bad to say afterwards. I give it an 8.5/10. That is the highest score I have given a comedy in ages. If you want a great night watching something funny I highly recondmend MacGruber.

I agree and disagree. The show isn't really funny anymore, but some of the cast are. They just have some horrible writing. SNL use to find funny characters and then place them in different situations. Now its seems when they have a semi funny skit they just do the same exact skit over and over and over. Really doesn't make sense why lorne and the execs are allowing it to drag on. They seem to act like they have no idea how unfunny the show is.

From what I understand this movie has really nothing to do with the skits. I think it may end up doing fairly well. Mainly because most people going to see it will have low, and I mean LOW, expectations.

I think the MacGruber sketches are boring and dumb. That said, the trailer has looked mildly entertaining. So for those that have seen it, is the movie completely different from what the sketches are based on, meaning actually entertaining?

I just got back from watching this movie & I gave it a 5/5. It was REALLY funny, I had high expectations for this movie coming in & it exceeded them. I had tears in my eyes at one point during the movie because I was laughing so hard.

I am getting this Blu Ray the first day it is available.

I love all those great Macgruber sketches on SNL (did anybody see the one with the pingpong balls?). I agree that SNL isn't what it used to be. I do really like most of the digital shorts with Samberg, and every now and then a host will knock one out of the park (see Paul Rudd), but most of the time I find myself ffwding through a lot of the show.

That said, I'm really looking forward to the Macgruber movie.

Hilarious. The movie has a few jokes that go on too long or they just miss, but other then that, no complaints. Val Kilmer rocks in this movie. Love the name of the villain. lol

So this is a SNL skit?! Had no idea. Saw the previews and it doesn't seem too bad. Not saying I'll watch it in theaters but I'd blind buy it on blu. At the right price, of course.
