Good news is they accepted the disney coupon for $10 off. As well as the $8 off Monsters Inc. So together I saved $18. Makesure to print off these coupons before you go out to get it.

On a side note, the bar code couldn't scan it, but the manager was there and just told the rep to remove from final price on each item. They didn't try to punch in the codes. So no troubles at all. Very happy.

P.S. Thanks to whoever brought this to everyones attention.

Where can we get this Disney coupon?

So is the FS Up confirmed to be a jumbo steelbook?

Haven't seen any pics posted yet.

Yep totally agree, there were tons just sitting everywhere. Seems the demand for the movie is very low, and that Best Buy had them pretty much killed it.

well we now know who buys all the Canadian Steels....Us Americans....We got Up from BB and the BD is dirt cheap, so for under 20.00 you can get a steelbook here

Yes, its a jumbo SB. They had tons of these on display at my local Futureshop, as opposed to the Monsters Inc. jumbo SB which wasn't numerous. Managed to get both though!

On a side note, I couldn't believe how many dabs of that glue they use to place the detachable specs card on the back of the Up SB. 16!!

I just picked up my copy 15 min ago from the Central City FutureShop here in Surrey. They had at least 10-12 copies left. I guess my prediction about not needing a preorder came true.

Though the $10 coupon DOES NOT work, it comes up as an invalid code for them. Boooo-urns!

Someone sounds disappointed that they can't sell this to Americans.

If anyone did their research or even know about supply and demand, it was quite easy to figure out that having them in the states pretty much drove the demand down hence a higher supply.

These will sit on the shelves for a while but most will be gone. Can't say the same for Monster's Inc which was one most people should have bought and sold .

They actually had A LOT of copies of UP in its various forms. Since both the Steelbook and normal blu case are $31.99 for the next 3 days I wonder which Joe Canadian will choose.

I'm actually surprised with the demand for Monster's Inc because I assumed since it was a jumbo steelbook, people were staying away from it.

When you saw the price tag of the regluar VS the SB, I would have gotten the SB even if it was wrapped in barbwire. 44.99 (regular) vs 33.99 (SB). I have no idea what FS was doing but having that up, would make anyone jump on the SB. Even people who don't want them.

Thank goodness BB was lower and you could PM. Otherwise I would have screamed bloody murder.

I wish this was the case with all these Disney SteelBook releases. It just goes to show you that all the scalpers in Canada avoided UP like the plague 'cos they knew they would not move any of them.

I hate the jumbo steelies, but Monsters Inc is a pretty good Disney flick, and I will be converting it to a thin steelbook once I get my hands on it. With both UP and Monsters Inc both being jumbo, it almost makes since to get Monsters Inc if you already have UP in your collection. They'll look better together instead of just one big fugly one in the collection.

I don't think that is the reason.

I'm not denying that there are scalpers in Canada, but there were a LOT more UP SteelBooks than MONSTERS INC. I mean an order of magnitude more.

When I went to the store last night, I think I saw maybe 5 copies of MONSTERS INC. and maybe 50 copies of UP at the front racks and also in the New Release section.

There were plenty to go around for the scalpers to buy them and then still have remaining stock.

Strictly speaking, only the Canadian Future Shop release has all the discs pre-sealed in a SteelBook. I'm sure some people will pay a premium for that. (not average Joe movie-watcher though)

Did anybody's UP ship from FS online though? Mine's still showing out of stock and ordered it right when it was made available.
