I've seen at least 6 different attacks so far:

Melee (not sure if this breaks down into more specific attacks)
Electricity bolt
Electricity grenade
Giant lightning storm
Shock blast
Shock impact

And the environment becomes a weapon with a right tool.

why dont they add other powers (marvel or dc style).

I'm guessing he's primarily electric (like storm or something), and his enemies may or may not have other types of powers.

I actually hope they don't add other powers for the player character. I think electricity is a damn strong power already but with some major weaknesses that the player will have to note as he plays. Giving him too many powers would pretty much make him Superman, and I really can't stand playing a Superman game (not that there's a good one) where even random street thugs can kick the crap out of you.

Ouch. Prototype was pretty ugly to begin with but in 2009 it's going up against inFAMOUS and it still isn't looking sharp.

It doesn't look bad, but as long as it's fun to play, I'm still interested (in both).

Not one texture looks remotely crisp! Then look at inFAMOUS.

edit: Fogging, low-res textures, non-existent detail on distant buildings, very low poly everything. No fancy lighting, shaders or depth of field to speak of. Stylistically quite attractive blood effects but those along with the explosions and other particles are quite low-res too.

I thought they went undercover for 6 months to bring the game up to spec but it's still looking dated.

That may be so, but the game still looks like it could be fun.

It's not like you have to buy one or the other.

I just think it's funny that far better looking games get crap in previews and from gamers for imperfections while Prototype gets no mention of it's all-round sub-par visuals.

Imagine if say.. the next Twisted Metal looked this bad. Everyone would be all over it.
