Has there been an announcement for these via Best Buy?

I would think exclusive Disney steels of a low amount, would be something they would advertise, since it's literally right before Christmas.

And I'm not sure about the rest of the country, but by local BBs had the Snow White and Up steels for weeks after release. And I'm guessing these new steels aren't going to be advertised in the upcoming ad.

If you get there Tuesday morning, you should be able to get what you want.

If so, I hope their online store will have them in their inventory for almost every store so I can pay online and do a pick up when I go to lunch that day. I just want 2 or 3 movies and I'm happy.

I'm not too worried as my BB doesn't sell much even though IMO they have the largest BD selection in town.

$34.99 is steep as 3 of these were $26.99 CAD. After conversion thats almost $10 difference.

The problem is that Steelbook are usually cheaper then any other releases on blu-ray...
We always pay too much up here...
But I'm not falling in the trap anymore, I ask my american friends to get them for me.

I wish this Steel will still be limited and hard to get for you as well, I don't want more worthless SBs like the German IAL...

its funny to me how only canadians are complaining about this. i hope that it is different artwork here so that usa can over charge canadians for some of the outragious prices they sold for. i thank those that sold for cost plus shipping but some going for 55-80 or more way outragious prices. I really didnt think these were rare for canadians when we thought it was FS exclusive. all they had to do was not be lazy and show up to the stores before they are open wait and get it. The early bird catches the worm or even Pre order. I wish all steelbooks were released in every country but the same so everyone had fair game.

I was getting ready to buy the Iron Man SB @ Ebay and someone involved with the production told me not to as it might be sold again around the time when IM2 hits theaters.

I'll wait.

I doubt FS will re release that one, the market is huge for SteelBook in Germany, not so much in Canada. By the time IM2 comes out it will be Rambo Status

I saw it with my own eyes. No need for an ad

There won't be any issues of getting these since there are about over 1000 stores and I am sure our US brothers will help each others out.

You would only be left to do trades or sells with other countries unless if someone from the US must get a FS release copy
