Thumbs up The Official Clint Eastwood Thread.

Hey Guys,

This thread is dedicated to the Awesomeness of Clint Eastwood. Here discuss your likes/dislikes/ and everything you would like to see Eastwood do.
  • Name your top 3 Clint Eastwood movies.
  • Is he past his prime, or he is still on a roll.
  • What is his best role ever.
  • Is he a better Director, or a better actor, or both.

You don't have to answer/discuss all points for they are a mere examples of what you could discuss.

Enjoy.

I find him to be one of the best directors. Mystic River was purely a classic.

Guys, Also feel free to sport Any Clint Eastwood AV just to honor him, until 11pm tomorrow.

Top 3:
*Unforgiven
*Good The Bad The Ugly
*Gran Torino

No where near the end of his career hopefully, hes still got it.

Gran Torino.

Equal in talent for both acting and directing.

The man is a legend.

Here are my choices for top 3 movies he acted in:

1. The Good, the Bad and the Ugly
2. In the Line of Fire
3. Absolute Power

Top 3 movies he directed:

1. Letters from Iwo Jima
2. Unforgiven
3. Million Dollar Baby

I believe he is still going strong. I take my hat off to anyone who still keeps creating such great art at his age. Go Clint! Never stop making movies bud.

I like him now much more now. In fact, I don't care much for any of his early stuff...especially the westerns. I do like a few of his Dirty Harry movies.

Gran Torino and Million Dollar Baby will always be my favorites. As a director and actor, he was just brilliant.

He has a wonderful body of work that can't be beat, but Million Dollar Baby and Gran Torino are top drawer.

I will probably be in the minority here, but I haven't really cared for any of the movies he's directed. Just MHO.

But I love the movies he's acted in, with Dirty Harry being my personal favorite.

Escape from Alcatreaz...is ok, but look at HeartBreak Ridge instead, one of his lesser know movies that is very good.

I love Clint, I met him one time in Carmel, he has a restaurant there called The Hogs Breath. They had an outdoor patio with a bar out there and he was there talking with the Bartender. I went up to him and said a couple of words, he is a real nice guy. I have seen all of his movies.

I haven't seen unforgiven? How is it compared to the Dirty Harry, and the Alcatrez movie in terms of when compared to other classics.

It has some great actors in it. Gene Hackman plays a great villian... Morgan Freeman also gives a great performance...I'd recommend it. Dirty Harry is in a whole different ball game though so it's hard to compare lol
