Four Brothers - their moms house is right by me

The Skulls - the last scene where they have to draw their guns is at the guild inn, a park right beside my house (totally met shooter mcgavin and made him do the "shooter" thing from happy gilmore)

River Wild was also shot there

lots of the Relic Hunter was also shot at the guild inn.

Detroit Rock City - shot in Cedarbre high school a block away

(The Skulls shootout)

and a screen cap from the actual skulls movie

I grew up about a 5 minute walk from where the gym scenes were shot for Hoosiers... small town Indiana... that's about it... nothing else was shot in my hometown

The airport scenes in Dumb & Dumber were at the airport here, and I'm pretty sure some of the other stuff is as well, like the Aspen scenes were done in Park City.

Also, the entire thing of The Sandlot was done here, except for one scene.

Saints and Soldiers was shot in Utah as well

I just recently moved elsewhere but I lived in Palm Springs, CA lots of films shot there but the 2 most recognizable would be the fake dinosaurs from Peewee's Big Adventure which are about 45 minute drive outside of the valley and the wind generators in the helicopter chase scene in Mission Impossible 3.

I tried looking but couldn't find anything more than city names, I was looking more for like building addresses, so if you find anything I'd appreciate a link.

I'm in the Little Rock, AR area. Though several other films have been shot in this area (Sling Blade & White Lightning were both shot in Benton), the most famous film location here will always be The Old Mill, in North Little Rock, which appeared in the opening credits of Gone With the Wind (behind William Cameron Menzie's production-designer credit). It's now said to be the only building in the film that still stands--although the old Selznick International building in their logo also remains in Culver City, CA (now called The Culver Studios). Though made to look like an old wood-and-stone mill, it was actually built of concrete in the early 1930's; the area now has a lot more woods & other greenery than it had when GWTW was made.

Late in Public Enemies, the nighttime, forest scenes and subsequent car chase/shootout was filmed on the road I grew up on. Used to ride my bike around those turns and go hiking around those locations.

The Wrestler had a few locations from New Jersey that were recognizable most notably the beach scene where I worked on a film project for HS there. We had the same shot as Arnofsky when the 2 sit down on the ledger and you see the beach in the background.

I created 2 videos and directed a play on my own. Only one of the movies I've created is on youtube and it's garbage. THe other one was a comedy version of Catcher in the Rye and it's on some other site but the film made in Asbury, wasn't my idea. I wrote a script re-write because the original script sucked ass and the original script writer got all upset about it and they used the crappy original script since it was his hard work. Sad, it was a crappy script anyway. I think that's one of the reasons it failed as a movie and crappy actors. I can't find it on youtube but here's an article about it and there's a screenshot that'll show you the familiarity of The Wrestler.

I'm the brown dude haha

It sucks it was early in the morning, freezing and yea.

If you've ever seen a movie called The Friends of Eddie Coyle (1973) -- now out on DVD by Criterion! -- there's a point in the film where an illegal gun sale takes place in an old quarry. I used to drive by that quarry to get onto route 1 in Massachusetts. I think it was called the Rose Quarry. The rest of the film takes place in Boston, too.

*EDIT* Oh, and I once went to watch the filming of The Witches of Eastwick in Marblehead, near where a friend of mine lived. I saw Susan Sarandon that day.

The exterior shots of Arkham Asylum in Batman Begins were filmed about 20 minutes walk from where I live. The building used is the National Institute for Medical Research - Mill Hill.

I live near Miramar Marine Station, used to be the Naval Air Base when Top Gun was filmed there. I think the Navy still uses the base because I see the jets all the time.
