I'm guessing the new thread was merged into the old one. I'm glad I was able to contribute something to this damn thread! I consider myself a movie buff and haven't been able to answer any questions yet. Someone throw out an easy one so I can help!

Can any of you help me find the name of a movie?

I think it's a British movie that came out in the late 1970's or 80's about a child who goes to this fantasy world and he meets these midgets "small people" on his journey and the small people have big roles in the movie. It's sort of like the movie 'The Never Ending Story'.

Got another I need help figuring out...

It's a sci-fi movie with aliens.

Probably mid to late 80's

Involves a 10-13 year old boy and, I think, his teacher. Not really a family film, the aliens were a bit too scary for little kids. I remember them being dark, slimey, kinda blobish looking. I think they did some kind of slightly graphic surgeries on some live things.

I want to say this is a remake....

Okay, I have one, and this is the best description I could possibly give.

I was around 7 or 8 when I watched this on television, so it was in 1992 or 93. Might have been in theaters in the late 80's, because I was watching it on television during the day time, on a weekend I believe. Maybe it was a made for tv movie.

Anyways. Little boy, trapped in what I think is a school or inside a closet at a school, at night, hiding from someone, talking to either an angel or a ghost, possibly hiding from his father or someone trying to kill him. That's all I can remember. Have at it.

Ok I got one, but it's very vague so bear with me.

I remember a blond kid with blue eyes? (though I don't trust my memory) that has lived with native jungle people, I remember a scene where the parents (?) take him back after some years (?) and he climbs a building at one point. Also I think there are themes of corporations destroying the natives habitat, cutting down trees and such. I think it's an 80's movie or late 70's. There is also a scene of a native trying to shimmy across an electric wire and gets electrocuted or something.

Hope somebody recognise this, I watched it a lot of times as a kid.
