Hello dallas-blu, Currently, I'm using the projector in my master bedroom with a DIY make shift screen 60". The new HT construction is in my new house. Can't wait till it's completed.

Regret to hear that kurtis21. I'm having similar problem. My pics in my computer are clear & sharp but after downloaded them into photo gallery they become soft. By the time the images link to this thread it could be much worse...and yes you're right it's fun taking screen-shots pics.

I tried both flickr & photo bucket. It appears flickr gallery gives better result.

same. So much and at the same time, so worth it though.

A fairly poor shot of Alice in Wonderland.

I moved in with my girlfriend about 2 months ago and I am trying to get her to start buying more blu's to add to the collection. So far she has only bought 500 days of summer but that is +1

If you go to your full theater gallery you can use the links for reduced sizes, but if you click on the pics and then grab the link, they will be really big. I grabbed two of yours that you posted in your HT gallery as an example of what you were trying to do:

Here is the code I used as an example.
PHP Code:

Kurtis21's screenshots

Really nice screenshots btw.

I'm still trying to figure out how to get the pictures I take with my Canon SX210 SI to look as sharp as my screen actually looks. It'd probably help if I wasn't camera-retarded. :P

I doubt you will be able to get it as sharp. I don't think anyone here would manage that as you would need quite the camera.

Yeah... I got 2012 from Amazon yesterday, so I reduced my camera's resolution to as close to 1920x1080 as possible (so the resizing wouldn't be as much of an issue), played with the exposure settings, cropped it to 2.35:1 (though I apparently didn't have the camera dead-on straight so you can see the black bars on the right side - OOPS!) and this is as good as I could get:

You can see the full size version here. Blacks came out a little brighter than they seem in my room, but the longer exposure time helped get the detail so it was a toss up. Not a bad picture from a point-and-shoot!
