My opinion "No" Toy Story isn't even close to being the "Greatest Trilogy" there isn't even one "Great" movie in the the whole thing as far as I'm concerned....
1 is a great movie, even if only because of what it did for Hollywood. 2 is one of the best follow-ups ever, especially for animated movies. 3 is just one long bad joke, I think the affection people feel towards 3 will wane over time.

While I don't think 3 is a long bad joke, I whole heartedly agree with you on peoples feelings towards the movie waning over time. I think it's good, but weakest of the three.

My personal opinion is that TS & LOTR are the best trilogies . Star Wars is great too but not the best IMO. I also liked the Spider-man trilogy but the third movie fell short on some levels.

I think this somes up it somewhat. Of course, beauty is always in the eye of the beholder and what one person may love another may not. Doesn't mean one of them is an idiot, but rather they just have different tastes. TS is going to appeal to the masses. However, a movie like LOTR and Star Wars isn't going to appeal as much to a female crowd (yes, some do like these movies but some don't). My bet would be that most opinions here are from guys 16-35 (I'm slight over that range).
