don't know if this has been mentioned yet but amazon.ca has the shrek quadrilogy for 37.99; on the other hand, the newest movie by itself is $35. The thing is, there is two listed blu-ray sets, one for the aforementioned 37.99 and another for 53.99. I'm guessing the 37.99 should be for the dvd set but it also includes a picture of all the blu-rays. Would they honour it?

Hard to say. I'd print that sucker off and try and price match at BB or FS. i've never PMed an online retailer, but I believe you can if its Canadian.

They have updated the title to show Blu-ray and same ASIN number (B0046A9RMC) shows as Blu-ray on Amazon.com.

Ordered mine and saved a copy of the images and title just in case

Amazon free shipping is now on orders of 25$ instead of 39$

something strange though,
the one at 37.99 will be released on December 7, 2010.
the one at 53.99 will be released on December 7, 2011.

I really hope they'll honour this price.
This is the first price mistake I hear about amazon.ca so I really don't know what will happen.
This is for the DVD set, as you can see on the first image.

I actually think the other set is the mistake. It says it relases 2001 and lists the ASIN number as "B0046H9Q2Q" which returns no other information when you google it - whereas the other sets ASIN number yeilds plenty of results for the bluray set.

Perhaps the are both fubar - the version that is supposed to be DVD says bluray and has the bluray asin, but the DVD price and the Bluray copy has a bogus ASIN.

Any which way the copy I ordered says bluray in the title, as does my order confirmation:

Blu-ray.com amazon CA price : 53.89 (the one you think is a mistake)
Amazon.ca price : 37.99 or 53.89

So, you really don't think it's a mistake ?
37.99 for 4 Shrek BD movies looks like a normal pre order price ?
Not for me... But we'll see when other retaillers add it.

Thanks for the head's up. My order still has blu-ray in the description too... I decided to print it out in case the words vanish there as well.

That being said, even though the words "Blu-ray" have vanished from the item title/description, the two images on the product page are clearly for the Blu-ray version...

LOL, yup they removed the words Blu-ray but then updated the image of the Box set (that used to look like DVD) to show the Blu-Ray image.



Amazon.ca if seriously fubar on this one
