Maybe this happened at the end of R2:

[Show spoiler] Hale shot him instead...we just hear a shot, don't see who did it if I remember correctly. Or someone else who wasn't in the picture intervened and shot the dude before he got Hale!

[Show spoiler]I really think we'll play as Capelli. He was brought into the story with R2 in America and R3 is supposedly taking place in New York. But at the same time, i really hope Hale is one of the villains haha. I knew he 'dies' at the end while i was playing, but found it very curious how he and Shepard were 'special'. Made me feel there was a certain destiny for him. I'd love it if they can make an antidote for Hale and at the very end you can play as Hale lol.

[Show spoiler]You can't also forget about Jaymes Grayson from the PSP version, Retribution. I thought the live actor kind of looked like him..........but only Insomniac knows at this point. Fall 2011 is going to be a very long time away.
