i think you would be lucky to get it any cheaper than the £24 just posted above this?

because of import costs and customs etc that aint a bad price.

Probably right, but I'll wait a little longer.

I recently ordered a Blu-ray from the US, was sent off a couple of days ago, I have not received it yet and was wondering when I do, do I have to pay custom fees? I have heard about this, but will I have to? If so how much?

Depends if the item is over £18? that is the limit that it wont get touched by customs.

Anything over that and your looking at probably getting stung im afraid you may be lucky though some do get through without charges.

I'm waiting on reviews. The Seven DVD was one of the few I've sold. I was one of the few that hated the color "correction" they did on it - in a lot of the shots at the end they made Morgan Freeman look like he was suffering from chronic renal failure. Hey, they matched the sky color OK, but don't worry about the actors. Noone else seemed to notice though.

Zavvi have this for £10.85 http://www.zavvi.com/blu-ray/seven/10225658.html

I went for it because I like the fact it has no mention of EIV, I like the slipcase (because it's different to the box art -d'oh!), I don't like the USA artwork very much and I want to support Warner UK.

Thank god this is now with Warner!

Zavvi -for those who don't know- are part of the same group that includes DVD.co.uk, TheHut.com, Base.com etc etc.

As for the comparisons UK/USA I'd be AMAZED if there were any substantial differences since Warner are worldwide obviously and it's a copy/paste job minus/plus a few subtitles. Maybe.

We'll see.

Watched this last night.

Very impressed for what is nearly a 15 year old film. Picture quality is top-notch. Yes these is grain, but unless your standing with your face against the screen you won't notice it.

Sound as well is great. I only have a 5.1 setup, but dialogue is clear, gunshots ring out and the scenes where you hear planes flying overhead, to me, makes it seem like you're actually there.

The US release is available from Movietyme for £21.99, on 3-day delivery (which is usually next day).

I still think that's expensive, seeing as the UK edition is a little over £10. I'll wait for it to drop down in price, it's still a new release. I don't think I'll be able to get it with all my other pre-orders.

Got my copy today. A truly stunning transfer and packed with extras. An excellant film, too. An absolute steal for £11.99.

Morrisons have it instore £12 I believe. I reckon the slipcover will be around for a while but people should get it at the moment obviously if it's important.

Movietyme have dropped their price to £18.99 http://www.movietyme.com/catalog/pro...ducts_id=49112 No way I'd pay that for what looks like my Granny's curtains on the artwork.

And this'll drop in price like a lead balloon soon enough in the usual direct from US places.

Horrible US artwork and I prefer the UK. Mine shipped same day from http://www.zavvi.com/blu-ray/seven/10225658.html

I prefer the slipcover to the US artwork, but I prefer the US artwork over the "floating heads" cover on the UK case.

I've just ordered this from Zavvi. While checking around for prices, I noticed The Game is down for the end of October too. I think I might pre-order that, although the picture on HMV doesn't look like it has a slip, so it's not going to match Fight Club and Se7en in my David Fincher section...

I noticed that Seven didn't have the sleeve on it in my local HMV today. Isn't The Game supposedly a pretty poor release (straight transfer of a rubbish German release)?
