Why do we pre-order them so far in advance? Probably because like me most of these people have been waiting for this movie since it went back in the vault and blu-ray launched.

Because some stores will sell out and there's most likely not going to be another shipment so these can be rare.

To get them, otherwise they will probably be sold out very fast and won't be available by the release date.

Oh, so that way you just make sure 100% that you will get the IP, otherwise there all the stock might be preo-ordered, so when you get there on release day, there is none.

Did I get it right?
And if I am right, do we have to pre-order it on-line or in store?
And is all this worjking the same way in Canada too?

When you go to pre-order BaTB on Sept. 5th the empty Iron Packs will be on the shelves. You pay the 7.50, take the Iron Pack and on October 5th you go pickup the movie and pay the difference.

I have no idea if FS is doing it this way but from what I remember the steels were there the day of the release.

I'm pretty sure it will be Region A locked like all the other Disney Animated Classics have been. No problem if you have a region free player, OR you just get the case from the US and fill it up with the local discs when they come out.
I'm hoping I'll be able to get this imported to the UK from somewhere, I was living in the US when the last set of steels came out, and that was an awful lot easier but has made me want to collect them all

True, I remember I did a in-store pickup of the "Up" steelbook way after the fact, and it said the store had some. Got an email saying it's ready, went there and waited for a hour or so of like a team of staff members looking for it. I was like wow. Still came up empty handed. I just thought someone might be lucky and benefit from that link.

the colour is fine its just the characters on the front makes it look like they're stickers randomly stuck on the rear looks nice though
