Well when you grow up you will realise everyone does not have to see things your way. You do realise your argument can be made for almost every type of movie and not just 3D right?

I saw it in 3D at the movies and really enjoyed it. I may pick it up on BD. Sorry but I don't have a 3D TV

Can some one elaborate on how the 3D/2D version may work from the 3D version of this movie? Is it just an option you can pick, is there actually a second disc? Sorry, I'm a total virgin to all things 3D BR discs.

I plan on getting a 3D set next year, I'm a fan of this series and love me some brain dead action, so I'm excited to pick it up, but I'm wondering if I should just wait until I get a 3D set/blu-ray player. Or if I wouldn't have any issues just playing the 2D version through the PS3.

Who else thinks this release date will get bumped up by two days at most retail stores since it will be the day after Christmas? Or do you think they hold off until, at least, the 27th due to the massive influx of returns?

As far as the 3d/2d combos I have bought they are on seperate disks. As far as I know all 3d versions releases come with 2d as well at this stage.

I'm actually gonna go for the 3D/2D version. I don't have a 3D TV and don't plan on getting one anytime soon. However, on the off chance that I get one in the next decade, I know for a fact that this is a title I want to have. I saw this in 3D opening night at midnight and, although the film was not that good, I was awestruck by the 3D and the slow-motion. And yes, I will pay $30 for this set if it means I might get the chance to experience that again.

I have a PS3, so my player can handle 3D discs, but i don't have a 3DTV, will the 3D version be able to work in 2D? If so i think i'll import the 3D version, that way if i ever buy a 3DTV i'll be prepared lol.

I hope walmart will put their remaining stock of resident evil steelbooks out in the stores when this is released. Since they seemed to be all pulled from the stores.

Default Resident Evil: Afterlife 3D Sony voucher

Hey just a heads up for those who bought a sony 3D tv this summer like me. I got cloudy with a chance of meatballs in the tv box and an online code for IMAX deep sea 3D, so when I saw that they now have a promotion giving away Bolt, Alice in wonderland, and RE: Afterlife I thought I wouldn't be able to get in on that since I already got the first set, however, I fortunately was wrong and found out that I also qualify for the new three and they should arrive in 4 - 6 weeks. 5 free 3D movies so far w purchase of tv, not too bad imo.

This 3D Blu is in my Christmas wish list. I'll tell my family to give me a gift card instead so I can pick it up at Best Buy on release day. Two more weeks!

Wow, that slow-motion actually made me to hate the RE:After Life 3D presentation.
I thought it was stupid that almost every action scene was in slow motion.
I hope this doesn't become a trend with 3D movies.
