Isn't the whole point of you posting in the blu-ray forum is because you are into blu-ray, if not, what is the point of you even posting here if you are "satisfied" with your DVDs? Did you not see the upgrade in pic quality you are getting? Seems like your post was saying the DVDs are good enough.

Will these films be on separate discs or on one?

all 3 are a buy from me!! Thou I do find it odd that they didn't just make El Mariachi, Desperado & Once Upon A Time In Mexico all in one box set. Why release Mexico separately? Oh well, still very excited to see these movies in HD FINALLY!

Nice. That is lucky!

I was going to see if anyone got theirs yet. I am still waiting for mine to ship, yet supposedly they are going to be here tomorrow... we'll see.

I look forward to picking this up tomorrow, completely bypassing the boring mess that was Machete. How Robert went from making the awesome Planet Terror to that crap is beyond me.

I was just wondering this too. My delivery is still slated for tomorrow but I haven't gotten any shipping notice.

The Best Buy near me already put this out on shelves and I've wanted Desperado on blu for as long as I can remember but I've heard that the transfer is pretty disappointing so I think I'm gonna wait until it's super cheap before picking this one up.

$13.99 on release day isn't super cheap? Amazon.com, my friend.

Same situation with my order. I called Amazon twice today and found out that it was scheduled for 12/31 shipment but apparently they ran out before pre-orders were all filled. On the second call, they said that they were expecting more at their warehouse this afternoon. This shortfall situation with Amazon has happened with my pre-orders twice recently. Local Best Buy shows these two titles in stock based upon web site info.

I just got off the phone with them as well . . . I didn't get such an in depth explanation, I just got "rest assured your items will be delivered tomorrow," even though it's now 8pm and I still have no shipping notification. This is my first hiccup with Prime . . . I was loving it, but this is kind of annoying. What does Amazon usually do for situations like this?
