Now you should have everyone unlocked for Fight Now except for Young George Foreman and Raymond Bishop, both were pre-order unlockables. They'll probably end up on the PSN store eventually.

First thing I did was use Frost in "Fight Now" and knocked Holyfield out

I went online and downloaded some boxers. Chris Byrd was the first I grabbed.

Some really cool CAB's on there are: Sloth (From the Goonies), Bruce Lee and Daniel Radcliffe (Harry Potter) is probably the very best one I've seen (of non fighters)

....I haven't even touched online yet. I might check it out sometime tomorrow.

so I jumped online yesterday for my first online match. Felt pretty good. I knocked some dude out in the first round.

So I say to myself 'Go ahead and knock someone else out'. Got back online and fought another dude.....got my ass knocked out in the 4th round

and to make things worse....he was using Frost as his guy. I was using Mike Tyson. Tyson just doesn't have the reach that Frost has. This guy was jabbing the hell out of my chin and I couldn't get to him

So overall...online I'm 1:1

So did they release any patch to bring back the old controls or is it the same?

You've had the option of the old controls the whole time. I got the game on release date, and it had multiple controls options, including using stick only, using stick and buttons both for punching, and using buttons only.

Just go into the control settings and use the D-Pad to cycle through the options. There's like 6

Thanks Man I know they have both button and Analog controls but does this have Fight Night Round 4 Controls also? I am asking this because it was not present in the demo they released!

Demos do not include even a fraction of the content or options for the game. If you're interested, just buy it. All the FN games for PS3 have 6 different configurations for the controller. What's the problem?

The last game did not have all those options. They had just the TPC which a lot of people didn't like. So then they implemented a patch that offered the button controls.

Thanks for the reply, yeah thats I want to know that did they put TPC (Total Punch Control) back in Fight Night Champion? Because I am one of those few who are master in playing with this TPC!

Picked this game up over the weekend and as much as I'm enjoying it (I've played all the FN games) I do find that this one has a tendency to freeze requiring a console restart.

I've started playing Champion mode and that's going ok, no freezes so far, but in Legacy I find that when I schedule a fight it just locks up. Grrrr.

Not played online yet, I still need to get used to the new controls, which are fine, but I keep using the older version.

Best looking FN game for sure though.
