Paranaromal Activity 2: Tokyo Night is a japanese only flick that takes place in Tokyo and is tied into the storyline for the series.

Here is the synopsis I pulled from Bloody Disgusting:

The project is a direct continuation of the events of Oren Peli and Jason Blum’s original and takes place in Japan as a girl who visited San Diego as an exchange student unwittingly brings the evil that haunted Katie Featherston into her family’s house. The film chronicles the young woman’s videotape recordings in their house and the shocking realization of the supernatural force that her family must defeat.

The Yamano family lives in a remote area of Tokyo, Japan. With their father away on business, 19 year old Koichi is left to look after his wheelchair-bound sister Haruka; who has returned to Japan early after surviving a car accident whilst traveling in America. Soon after Haruka’s return from that states, strange and unexplainable things start to happen in the Yamano home. As the incidents continue to grow increasingly stranger and more severe, Koichi persuades his sister to set up a video camera to try and capture them on film. What Koichi discovers is beyond anything he could have ever imagined and, as the situations intensify, a terrible fact is revealed...

Bought my copy for $15 yesterday. I think that's a fair price. I still see other stores selling it for $22 - $27.

Walmart has it for $13 and includes Movie Cash for PA3. Pretty good deal IMO

How did you get it for $13?? I bought my copy at Walmart too, but it cost me $15 Not a big deal though.

Wally World prices vary by location, sometimes even different stores in the same city will have different prices.

I watched it last night. It was really scary and I was really freaked out after the movie. In my living room, the sofa is positioned in the middle of the room. I kept glancing back uneasily throughout the movie but that final scene where

scared the living daylights out of me!
I was too freaked out to even go to the bedroom after the movie but could in no way sleep on the couch!
I don't understand why people say this isn't scary. It's far scarier than most horror flicks like Friday the 13th etc.

Hahahaha! Great story!

I also think they are very scary and I love to discover more of that timeline mystery. People thinking it's just a movie with FX will not be involved in the story and they'll say "How can you be scared by a door closing after someone pulled a rope?" but if you put yourself into the story, forgotting it's all tricks on camera and if a part of you believe in ghost stories: you'll be scary!
