Thanks, yeah they turned out better than expected were pretty cheap and lightweight, which is always good. Those Bioshock posters are so thin, frames for them was pretty much a necessity. I tried to find one frame big enought to display all 3 side by side, but the akward size meant the prices lept up. I didnt like the posters that much lol

The 'do I open them' and use them thing I have never asked as I like using things but for ardent collectors (not just of movies) they may collect 2 of each. One sealed and one to play with.

Not a cheap hobby but it better than world war 3

There seems to be an issue with the upcoming "Beyond" Blu-ray. From an early review, it has been reported that the pre-credit sequence (originally presented in 'sepia') is now just black & white. (The alternate color pre-credit sequence is also included as an extra on disc 2 I believe.) The change seems to be a big issue on the Cult Labs forum, so it's going to be interesting to hear their response.

I'm not a hardcore collector like that. I buy movies to watch and enjoy.

They are looking into it, hopefully they'll correct it by the time retail editions hit the shelves. They've got 3 weeks, so it'll be a tight squeeze, but it can be done.

Yeah here's the Arrow statement

Quote:
We are taking this very seriously. The benefit of having PR time with check discs prior to release is it allows us to correct things where possible. They are only check discs that reviewers receive and do not always reflect the final product.

The restoration and colour grading for THE BEYOND took place in Italy by the owner of the film, we then received the HD Master in the UK where we felt that the restoration was not good enough so had additional work on the film carried out using an HD Archangel to fix and stabilise motion, weave, picture flicker, overscan and interpolation as well as MTI technology to remove marks and picture defects. Colour grading was completed in Italy and was not tampered with here, we are investigating the colour of the film from negative to master to disc and hope to have more information soon. Once we have more information we can discuss this with the technical team and ensure the right colour is properly presented on this Arrow Video edition.

Once we have further information we will happily communicate every step of the way what is happening and we hope that our customers will keep their confidence in us to deliver the best product possible come release day.

Nice start, but get Piranha the hell outta there. It ruins the awesome collection.

Ordered DEEP RED. I found it online for 10 pounds new and the price seemed right. Also I was curious to see the alleged PQ problems with my own eyes. Sometimes I feel very content with a release deemed weak by others.

Two things will determine whether or not I'll douple-dip in April:

1-Am I happy with the product even with its probable flaws?
2-Is the BU transfer that outstanding?

Time will tell.

I know someone can.

I've asked the good people at Cult Labs but they won't supply them... I have no intention of pirating these movies. I just need the panels for my DVDAF listing...

If you're caught selling these on eBay you may be reported to the FBI and may be extraordinarily rendered to a third country of your choosing (from a list including -but not exclusively- Iran, Outer or Inner Mongolia, Tunisa or another country where the FBI see fit and proper to investigate your copyright crimes).

Vous avez été averti mon petit.

Cool, thanks pal!

Hate to "extend my welcome", but do you have the third one (Inferno) also?

I'm still tempted to add that SE to my LE for completeness sake... Although, I am skipping Vamp, so I guess I don't really need to.

The Dude has posted his custom cover for De Palma's Obsession, and it looks awesome to me!

I have the LE of Battle Royale but want to get the standard edition to complete my collection. I don't like the "goodies" that came with the LE anyways so i will probally trade the LE version with the region B disc instead of the region free ones.
