They could make a movie similar to 300 but i dont see how they would make a prequel or sequel...Its pretty much all there in the movie..I guess in my eyes it is...I like the way it ends because even tho xerxes doesnt die in the end it shows that he is not truly immortal or a god..the spartans know of it & xerxes own men know of it. I dunno i guess its one of those..I like the movie leave it alone type deals lol...Because i hate when a prequel or sequel comes out...and it is horrible..then it kinda takes away from the way i liked the first one.....I guess if i seen a preview for another 300 movie i would try to think on the bright side...it could still be good..but if they never make one...i wont lose any sleep

I could see a sequel covering the battles of Salamis (where the Athenian navy defeated the Persian navy) and the battle of Plataea (where the Greeks defeated the remnant of Xerxes' army) as a possibility. A prequel covering the battle of Marathon and Darius (Xerxes father) also possibly working (though this would be covering the Athenians, not the Spartans). That said, I am lukewarm about a 300 prequel/sequel. I loved 300, but I don't think the stlye would work for the previously mentioned battles (maybe Marathon) despite the interesting stories surrounding those battles.

On topic:
Watchmen - Graphic novel did not have one, and I think a Hollywood sequel to this would be disasterous.

A lot of my favorite movies had sequels made. Some were great (Shrek 2, Aliens, Empire Strikes Back), others forgettable (Matrix sequels).
