Hi guys I've just joined the forum (this is my first post), looking forward to getting aquatinted here just wanted to say what amazing collections people have! I've had my Blu-Ray player for almost a year (Sony BDP-S360) but I started to get get a few titles on the format before purchasing my player, yet in that time I only managed to accumulate just over 30 titles! All of these collections put mine to shame! There are many titles which I plan on adding in the coming months so I shall look forward to it gradually growing

I'm actually planning to put them all in some form of order, like all the Disney Animated films or the Critrtion film for example

I love the shelves and the whole set up with the TV. You have a LOT of titles. Puts my collection to shame.

My modest collection. I got Toy Story 1 & 2 in a double pack, so no slip cover for them. I don't really bother to source them, so it's not a major deal. Though if they look nice, they look nice! Ignore that random dvd at the end of the first shelf! I just stuck it there to stop them falling over

Thanks so much guys, here's the rest of my setups in the house

close up of the HDTV in my bedroom, it sits on top of a Sony 350.

Close up of my Pioneer TRE-D800c Wireless Headphone amp. Great for watching films late into the night and not waking up the entire house.

My DVD collection, very unorganised at the moment, but it's on my "to do" list.

50" Pansonic in my living room.

My Sony Amp, bit old but still does a fantastic job.

Sony 300 (region free) as my main blu ray player, yes I know it's a slow loader and it doesn't do Bonus View but the thing is huge and this is the best place for it.

The setup in my sitting room (used by the rest of the family) so we have a Sony 360 and a SKY HD box, on top of a VCR and a multi region DVD player.

32" JVC HDTV for the family to use.

26" HDTV in the Kitchen

and the other room that has blu ray is my home office which has:

Samsung 32" HDTV

Sitting behind that are my PS3 & Xbox360

and beside those are my PS3 games:

and of course in my office is my computer (Alienware ALX Area 51) which also has a bluray player/burner

Thank you, I'm looking forward to seeing what the forum has to offer Well anyway here's my modest Blu-Ray collection (sorry for the low quality pictures), it's really nothing fantastic but it's a WIP and there are a great deal of titles I shall be adding in the coming months. Normally when there's the option of buying a combo pack in either Blu-Ray packaging or DVD packaging I go with the Blu-Ray packaging, however I recieved Fantasia for Christmas and it came in DVD packaging so whilst I realise it sort of sticks out like a sore thumb I'm not that bothered, I think uniformity is nice but Disney kind of screwed that up by adding numbers on the spines after they'd released Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, Pinocchio and Sleeping Beauty That's also kind of the reason I've held off buying Dinosaur, Chicken Little, Meet the Robinsons and Bolt on Blu-Ray in case they're re-issued with numbers, annnnnyway.....

I'm normally organzised when it comes to my DVDs/Blu-Rays (shame I wasn't more organzised with everything else!), however I'm running out of room and everything has become very disorgansied (please excuse the random DVDs atop of my Blu-Rays have no where to keep them at the moment). I want to buy some sort of shelving unit to house my collection within the next few months, it's just finding the space to keep such a thing in my room that's the problem! My Disney Animated Classics are ordered chronologically and everything else is really in any order, seeing as how my collection is small it doesn't matter for the moment but as it grows I would like to display them in some order still not sure how to go about doing that, genre, studio, release date? Any suggestions of what works good with you?

You may want to consider not having all those electricals resting on top of each other. It's adding uneeded weight to a lot of expensive stuff, which could cause a lot of expensive problems for you in the future.

Looks you have spent a lot of money on your gear. Don't let it go to waste by taking chances with them.

Cool looking set ups though.

He's got 'em the right way round though the Sky HD+ box is crushing the VCR and the BD player is crushing the Sky box! He knows his priorities!

If there's one thread that makes me want to spend money it's this one! I've been trying to avoid it or just admire their storage solutions. Great collections everyone!

There are some seriously impressive collections on here! Here is my relatively small collection, it's taken me about a year to get this far. Let me know what you think.

TheDaVinci COD, I agree with BazMoney81, that's still extremely impressive for a year. And the shelving units do look great, I love the way you've set it all up. Great job.

Thanks a lot guys. I had about 5 blu's up to March last year and then once i started buying them i couldn't stop!! I got the shelving units at ikea quite recently at £17 each. They are four separate units but they come with an option to attach them together.

The ikea site won't load for me but if you just search for dvd on the Ikea UK store site, the shelves are one of the first results. Each slot holds between 10-11 Blu-rays (depending on slip covers and box size) so i have space for over 300.

I couldn't be happier with them! thanks again for the comments.

£68 is pretty reasonable as they look great. Next time I move house I'll definitely look into making my shelves more expandable like yours.
If I were you I'd pick up a couple spare incase they discontinue that line, and it looks as if you could uses an extra one right now especially at the pace you've been buying.

Yeah, they are ideal due to the fact i can keep adding to them. That's a good idea, I think buying some more now would be wise as in another 12 months i'll probably be looking to expand and they may well have discontinued the line.

I'm currently browsing Amazon as i have a £25 voucher to spend. Any Blu-ray suggestions that you think my collection badly needs?!

I see The Dark Knight in your collection but no Batman Begins, that's one suggestion. I'll keep thinking of what else you could pick up as well.
