Got the Crow 2 BD and was comparing it with my DVD and it really is not that much of an upgrade in PQ. It's slightly sharper then the DVD, but not by much. Sound is DTA-HD MA 2.0 and sounds good, but could have been much better. For $10 bucks it's not to bad if you don't have the special edition DVD, if you have the DVD then just stick with that.

One thing I did notice was the BD is not the slightly longer Directors Cut like the old special edition DVD.

Saw this screenshot of the back cover of H20 posted over on AVSForum.

[Show spoiler]

So, not only is the audio 2.0 but the video is cropped to 1.78? The Alliance release has an excellent DTS-HDMA 5.1 track and it's at least in 2.35. I hope this is just a packaging error.

Image doesn't work.

I sure hope that all of this is just packaging errors.

I'm not entirely convinced these are actually exclusives. At least one of my local Best Buys didn't have any of the titles out when I went at noon.

Was Curse of Michael Myers getting a separate release or only with the double pack?

If anyone gets a chance, could you post pics of the menus on these Echo Bridge releases?

I picked a copy from the regular blu-ray display they have in best buy. It wasn't in the spot where it was supposed to be alphabetically. It was near the bottom of the shelf and they had two copies. It was $9.99 when it rang up...i uploaded the cover here for the movie database. Does anyone know if i have to wait for a mod to approve it or something since it's not showing up?

I don't care for 2.0 audio, just should have given us the DD5.1 mixes and why bother going in to remaster the audio to a lesser quality mix. From a PQ standpoint, both Curse and H20 are not that great on DVD even upconverted so if these are of better quality great. I really hope at some point that Lionsgate gets their hands on the rest of the Miramax catalog that Echo Bridge is doing a good job of ruining at this point.

Is the Alliance release in 2.35 or 1.78? It looks like all these Echo Bridge releases are 1.78 from looking at the back of all the releases they had out at BBY today.
You may be sorely disappointed with H20 and CCOA then since they alledgely have DTS MA 2.0 audio tracks.

Can someone who has a receiver please take a picture of your receiver's screen while this movie is playing? That way we can have a for sure that this is a 2.0 stereo. Would be very much appreciated.

It was weird, none of these releases except for H20 were in alphabetical order at the store I bought mine from too. It's like a memo was sent saying that these are ultra bargain bin crap releases, just toss them anywhere.

my Best Buy had them all too and i picked up Halloween H20.

Strangely enough none of mine were in alphabetical order either. From Dusk Till Dawn was in the E's.

WTF is with that Myers on H20 half of the combo pack. I agree what what has been said. These releases are jokes. I bet PQ is shit as well.

Hopefully, we can get some good news on H2, H3, H4, and H5 or something. The Weinsteins can't do anything right with their licenses anymore.
