Watched Jak-Jak attack.
Bit mixed about the quality. Some block/line pixalation with background blocks of colour (even wood in one instance) and well this is Pixar's rendering faults/abilites but some textures were quite low rez.
Eg the carpet in the lounge was a flat texture and not 3D. Things just sat on it instead of interacting with it. Which was a shame since it featured some close ups.

I don't profess to be any sort of expert, but this blu ray is just different class, I have some 80 odd blu rays, and this has to be one of the best looking and actual best films I have. I have never seen it before, and on the advice of my 7 year old son decided to buy it.

£12 from amazon uk was an absolute bargain

The picture is so clear and sharp, and excusing the pun, is just incredible.

The actual movie is just class! And in my opinion is up there with the toy story films. Mr incredible is a laugh a minute without trying to be funny.

Just a great great film, for kids and adults, and an amazingly clear and sharp picture on blu ray!

Couldn't recommend it enough to anyone who's thinking of getting it.

From a rating 1 to 10, what'd you give The Incredibles UK Blu-ray release?

Blubastard have the US release instock for £18.99

More expensive that Amazon.com but should be next day delivery and they answer emails very quickly incase you want to ask them whether their stock has the slipcase.

Had my US copy since release, really should get round to watching it lol

I don't know if it is the same as the UK one but the German one is 10/10. I only watch it in English ofc...no extra disc, but who cares, this film has deep, hard hitting, and frequent bass, it is a great film, and the video quality is just pimp. Reference all the way around.

£12 for the Blu-ray with only the film, the price isn't too high for so low but I'll wait for a price drop.

This BD doesn't even feel worth £12, more likely about £5 or £7.

Not a big fan of the film, but will definitely own sometime later.

Manga UK's being really pricey with their parts of series on Blu-ray, not even FUNi charges so much.

If I didn't gave my Special Edition DVD years ago to my nephew, I wouldn't bother with the BD edition even though it's got way better quality.

Well, Casshern Sins used BD on Amazon is at a reasonable price, I'll think about it.

Sorry for the dead thread revival, but rather than make a new thread for Incredibles 2 I thought I'd just add to the discussion here. Having loved the movie at the cinema (just a couple rungs short of the first film), I waited till the blu reached what I consider a doable price. I opted for the 3D edition even though I don't have a 3D capable player and display, purely so I could get the extras disc missing from the UK 2D-only edition (and it was only a couple quid more).

While this blu has the same damped down master volume issue that many recent Disney releases have, I found that, unlike my anemic experience with Thor:Ragnarok's audio even at elevated levels, raising the volume to an acceptable level delivers a very potent bass with no equalizer fiddling, so I'm quite satisfied with the audio. Image quality of course is fantastic, and the extras are decent. The bonus disc isn't what I would describe as stacked or insightful (there's very little on how the sequel evolved in terms of story and character or how the animation style is advanced from its predecessor), but the featurette on Pixar employees talking about juggling work and parenting is nice. Looking forward to hearing Brad on the commentary track (he seems to have the beginnings of a double chin now, go out and get some exercise, dude!)
